You’re awesome! You helped me figured out how to get the sound coming out using the HDMI capture card connected with Firestick. After spending time couple of days researching in UA-cam videos, I was just about to give up and return the item for a refund. Your tip about going to Sound setting in Windows system finally got the audio sound working. It’s not big deal but evidently it locks the volume and I couldn’t adjust it. Now I know that the capture card is not a simple plug-n-play and the OBS software instructions aren’t precise in troubleshooting issues like audio. By the way, I have installed Windows 10 in my Intel-based Mac. Now that I got it working, but it’ll be nice to get the Mac IOS working too. So far, I don’t see any switches on IOS Sound setting like the Windows so maybe you can help me out.

What brand is your phone?
I'm using the Huawei mate 20 X. How do you check if its hdmi compatible?
"The Mate 20 is compatible with USB-C to HDMI adapters so this is a great, fast choice. ... Select the HDMI source on your TV then your Mate 20 is mirrored onto your TV, it's that simple!"

I set this up last night with one of my mini consoles to test it, worked just fine. Swapped over to my Switch today and now I'm not getting any audio. Very odd, if you ask me.
Have you gotten it to work yet if not i can help you on discord
@@JimmyAyeAye I think I got it working. May have been an issue with the cord I was using. However, if the issue pops up again I'll definitely get in touch.
