#ThatsMyCrew #GoBrewersGo #WIStrongWIProud What a statement to the entire League. Watch out, there's a team comin in hot for the drought to end!!! Bring it home boys!!!
Congratulations on going to your first Brewers game. I saw my first game waaaaay back in 1976 or 77, but I LOVED it! There was nothing else like it. The ambiance was second to none. The smell of the food, 🌭🌭Hotdogs🌭🌭,🌭🌭Brats🌭🌭, & 🌭🌭Polish🌭🌭Sausage🌭🌭. Outside you could smell 🥩🥩Steaks🥩🥩, 🍔🍔Cheeseburgers🍔🍔, 🍖🍖Ribs🍖🍖, 🍗🍗Chicken🍗🍗, and other assorted foods. Back inside🍿🍿Popcorn🍿🍿, 🥜peanuts🥜, 🥨pretzels🥨, 🍟French🍟Fries🍟,🍦ice-cream🍦, 🍺🍻beer🍻🍺, 🥤🥤sodas🥤🥤, and even ☕☕coffee☕☕. It was always a blast!
The only bad part about this is if the Mets miss the playoffs we will get the Diamondbacks and they have been the one team to give us some issues. Don't get me wrong I want to see the Brewers win out, but I want the Diamondbacks to miss the playoffs too.
Braves 88-71 DBacks 88-73 Mets 87-72 Braves and Mets have tiebreaker on DBacks Braves and Mets play double header in Atlanta on Monday Highest finishing of those 3 goes to San Diego, Middle team comes to Milwaukee, lowest goes on vacation they are done
Out of all of them I'd prefer to meet the New York Mets, not the Arizona Diamondbacks. I'm not saying the Brewers can't beat the Diamondbacks but out of them all the Diamondbacks are the ones that have been a thorn in the Brewers sides.
You could see Willy Adames throw up his arms like HEY THROW THE BALL! But considering all of the Homerun stealing catches he's made. All of the diving catches, the sliding catches, the leaping grabs, and the pinpoint throws to home plate, 3rd base, and 2nd base, one miss is hardly a problem, and like you said, he's still just a rookie, a 20 year old "kid". However you can take this to the bank, Jackson Chourio WILL be an All-Star next season, and I could easily see him making the 30-30 club. 30 Homeruns & 30 Stolen Bases. He is a superstar and next season his average will increase, his power will increase, and his speed or his stolen base count will rise due to his batting average jumping I'd bet to at least .030 points, putting his average over .300 for the season. A .305 average, 32 homeruns 108 runs scored, 101 RBI's, and 37 stolen bases,
NOTHING brings ppl together like sports. Not politics or even religion gets ppl to come together like sport. For a little while, lifes issues dont matter. Its the universal language.
So for a starting pitcher to be able to get a win he needs to not "start" the game, but come in after the 1st or 2nd inning? I understand that a pitch count is now being strictly used to maintain a pitchers longevity, but when starting pitchers can't even go 5 full innings? Obviously Pat Murphy knows exactly what he's doing so as far as that goes he's been outstanding! I just remember when Starting Pitchers used to get 5, 10, 15, and even sometimes albeit rarely 20 complete games.
Myers didn't start, so he wasn't the starting pitcher, Koening was. Myers was a relief pitcher, you know, since he didn't start. Starting pitchers, in this case Koening, can't be awarded a win unless they complete a minimum of 5 innings pitched. Relief pitchers, in this case Myers, can win even if they've only pitched 1 inning, but generally a game isn't official until after 4.5 innings have been completed. Myers was pitching with the lead as the game became an official game and since the Brewers never gave up that lead Myers was chosen as the winning pitcher. This rule has existed for decades. Nothing out of the ordinary happened here.
Mets had three opportunistic teams to beat out for a wild card spot and is now they are on the verge of losing to all of them. Personally, I think these games are rigged, especially with all the sports betting going on. They get you hyped so that you bet the roll and then they pull the rug out from under you when it comes down to the wire.
Way to finish Brewers!!

Lol Mets fans going nuclear on Pat Murphy for *checks notes... Trying to win?
