Yeah I gotta say this is definitely a trash design and for a great movie like this, it deserve better. First off they just copy and pasted Scarlet Spider, Spider-punk and Insomniacs Spider-man from the 2018 game and on to the steel book which sucks more cause Spider-punk and Scarlet were awesome in the movie especially their designs. They took a frame from the Spider-Man unlimited cartoon and copy and pasted it onto here. Spider-Gwen on the cover is from the first movie. You can tell by her costume and shoes, so they just copied her in the first movie and slapped it on here. And Indian Spider-man was also done dirty, cause the reason his pose looks familiar and his body type is bigger, is because that’s the pose they’d use for Peter B. Parker for some of the promotional material for ITSV. They just slapped Indian Spider-man’s suit over it. It’s even worse when you realize they have official promotional material for the characters they copy and pasted and just decided not to use them? Yeah, this steel book definitely just screams lazy.
it would’ve been more creative and better if they made the steel book designed like a notebook with miles’ artwork, the spiral down the side and on the inside, all the relevant characters in the film would be drawn out with something NEW.
I'm in high school... "graphic designer" for 2 years.... Without being part of Sony or whatever, without having an inside photo materials I can make a better cover. AND THIS ONE ITS THE BIGGEST PEACE OF DOGSHIT! At first I thought the caption of the movie is there and its covering the empty space but guess what, it's just part of the packaging, we will leave you with the beautiful picture of the empty sky. Most of the spiders are just taken out from the trailer that we watched Thousand of times and the others are from insomniac SM (do they even have the rights to use them). And freakin Gwen is from ITSV trailer. At least the disks look cool, but the artists who didn't sleep for years to make the movie deserve more...
Bro, it’s fine. It looks really good actually. Lolll. But if you want another steel book from this movie. Walmart has its own exclusive steel book. But it’s standard Blu-ray and not 4K. So you would have to buy it again and you’ll be stuck with two copies of the Blu-ray and codes. I prefer this over that but to each their own.
I hate the steelbook myself. I had to get it as have all the Spider-Man movies on 4k/steelbooks. This is my least favorite steelbook for such a good movie. A lot of the cool poster arts they had could've even been on this. Or even the 4k disc! I love the art on that. But well, I hope Beyond has a nicer cover but still kinda fits with the other two steelbooks... We shall see.

It's not that big of a deal. You paid for a movie, and got a movie. I understand criticism and nitpicking, but come on, you're not gonna put the case up somewhere and watch it for over 2 hours. You're gonna watch the movie. You don't even have to look at the case when it's on a shelf in between all your other Spider-Man movies.

They should bring back slipcovers for SteelBooks instead of just [barely] attaching a piece of paper with official artwork to it.
