Hi Faraz, this video was very very helpful with a project I had for my job. It truly helped me convert my data into what I needed, which would have taken my several days to complete into just a matter of hours of prepping. Thank you for this video.
Hi Faraz. Nice one! For those without UNIQUE, you can extract the uniques with this legacy array formula (requires CSE): =INDEX(tbl_country[Countries],MATCH(0,COUNTIFS(D$6:DF6,tbl_country[Countries]),0)).. copy down.. wrap in IFERROR if you want to copy more cells to accommodate new future data that might expand the list. Also, to combined the cities, you can use FILTER to replace IF, as is: =TEXTJOIN(" | ",1,FILTER(tbl_country[Cities],tbl_country[Countries]=G7)). Great examples and lesson! Thanks for sharing :)) Thumbs up!!
this was so wonderful. saved me hours of work. thanks a lot. saw this in a forum, but had to find it on google to suscribe, like and comment. thanks for this!
Thank you for this tutorial. What if, in multiple rows, you need to separate only 1 row then the rows are combined in one cell. For example I have multiple rows A1 to A10. Then I want to separate the A1 only to single cell column. Then A2 to A10 will be combined in one cell column as well. Appreciate if you can give solution for this. Thanks a lot
I get a #SPILL error and it seems it's because column I am returning with IF has values longer than 255 characters (it does works for rows with smaller text). I watched your #SPILL tutorial as well but it doens't cover this case. Can you think of any solution for that? Thanks.
Exactly what I was looking for. Very much appreciated vid. Keep them coming!
Glad to hear you find the solution.. what are the other challenges you have with EXCEL
Many thanks. After two weeks of trying to find a solution, I found your video and it was exactly what I needed. Thank you!
So good. Easy to understand and straight to the point. Thank you

Hi Wayne - The solution with a nested Filter formula worked for me. Don't know why the solution provided by the author didn't work. Thanks anyways!
Have any link. Pls share

hello Faraz can you help me how to break 1 column 3 rowz
I have a question about this video. How can I reach you? I don’t see your email listed.
Is it add-in or why I cant use this formula? is there any alternative for excel 2016?
for excel 2016 unfortunately don't support TEXTJOIN function, but you can use Excel Online and use this function.
I am getting false values starting from 2 row
2007 excel mein nai ho raha yeh 😅
You need Office 365 or use excel online
