hey so coming back to my fav video in this series because i just saw a comment that said the real moment where aelin thought rowan had stopped looking for her must have been the exact thinking process sam went through.. It BROKE ME INSIDE. the rescue scene is easily top 3 moments in the series i cry everytime 🥲
I struggle with Aedion's thought process. his behavior towards lysandra feels, maybe?, out of character, and I don't understand his reasoning for it. I don't hate him - I don't love him - he's mid for me. in IRL, absolutely, he's a piece of shit, but from a literary perspective, I just don't understand him enough to have feelings about it.
I do think that's fair! I think the 2 month time jump gets really messy for the Aedion-Lysandra relationship, because what do you mean he didn't talk to her for over 2 months! Also as a character, I don't think Aedion is very introspective, so it's hard to figure out where he is coming from because he doesn't really think about it, which makes it difficult to empathize with him.
Ugh thank god. Can’t wait
