Thank you for making that video. I have the top and could not figure out certain things about it. Appreciate your time on that video help me tremendously.
@@Poweraddicts yeah. I'm sold. It looks like it seals out most of the weather and looks great. I love that mini pickup look lol .. it was either this or Gr8top cab, and as nice as it would be to have a hard cab top, it's way out of my price range ... thanks again for the great video
You buy the half doors separate. That is a Rampage Cab Top that uses the factory YJ softop frame. I can't remember where I got it. I checked a few places and each said they were out of stock.
It should but I haven't actually tried it. Yo have to have the factory YJ soft frame that has the "square" corners. It will not work with full steel doors.
@@Poweraddicts ok so the top doesn’t work with full doors only half doors. I have an 88 yj with a bestop on rn that curves around that back if that’s what you mean by “square corners.”
I am new to Jeeps. I have to replace my black 94 YJ top. In the vin, is there a code to tell me what color the factory top was? Someone slashed my back window. Plus the top is old, but not the factory top. Under the seat cover the seat are grey.
YJs had a few different seat colors depending on the trim level, but the main indicator from my experience is the dash color. If you have the grey seats and dark grey dash, your factory soft top was probably black. Light grey dash = grey top, tan/spice dash = spice top, etc.
I didn't show my half door sliders in this video .. I don't think I did. Anyway, I do have a set of fiberglass half door sliders, they are made by Bull dawg manufacturing. I bought them from one of my awesome subscribers.
Im having the same question. I have an 88 yj with sport style roll bar and some say it works. But when I just spoke to a Rampage technical support, he said NO IT WONT. So im confused. Can someone help me or direct me where I can get the one that works with my sport style roll bar. Thank you
I just installed one on my 95. I get a lot of flapping and wind noise from the cab. Does your spreader help with this? I had the franeless top on before. It was much heavier and quieter.

You're welcome! Its a cool top, I like it. Glad the video helped you figure things out.
Great video ... been looking for an in depth view of this top. I've been looking at getting one for my '93 YJ ..
I really like the top! If you dont use your rear seat, I definitely recommend it!!

YEZ please do the half door skin install video
Will do!!
fresh ass jeep homie!!!!
Thanks!!
I need to lower my 1990 YJ back to stock height. When I bought it, it came with a 3” body lift. Do you recommend a video showing this?
I like the cab you installed, except it's not available with half doors. Extreme terrain can only get in full doors. How can I get one?

Not available in Texas. I have doors. Just not finding cab top for half doors?
I have a 1992 jeep wrangler yj with half doors. Frame is on it, just interested in the cab option?
What soft top hardware do you need in order for the cab top to fit/work?
The original YJ soft top hardware with the "square" upper door corners.
For some reason when I’m setting up this top, it does not fit around my rollbar, I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong
I have a factory YJ sound bar and it all works fine. Just double check the install.
Would this top work with the sports bar?

@Jeepoholic knows his YJs so he gives great info!
