Thank you so much Cori I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome triple tuck spaces. It a really really great 👍 idea 💡 and so useful too. You amaze me with all these stunning thing’s. I’m thoroughly enjoying watching you. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Hi Cory, love your idea`s and..... No Need To Say Sorry!!! I do not mind listening to you longer :) You are a joy to listen to Be safe and your family to xXx Marga
I really do need to make an idea book, but there's never any time. Thanks for sharing. I just love your series and your tips are wonderful. Great pockets.
I love your channel, you are so brilliant, but i think you are running or against the time. I will love to see you with No rush .take your time. We love to see your art for as long it is necessary. Your work worth it. Loves from 🇨🇱. Terrible english, i know! Ja ja ja
Thank you Angela. It’s always a balancing act. Enough time to explain the concept, but not too much time so that folks with limited craft time can still watch and learn. I’m definitely a work in progress!
Love ❤️ Love 💕 the idea you shared in this video. I can't believe that I watched it more than three times. I've got to share this awesome idea with my journal loving kids.👍
This is a great series and I LOVE the concept of an Idea Book. I've watched most of the videos but now that I'm making a journal for a friend, I'm going back and making along with them. I'm using the old childhood method of divvying things up...one for you and one for me and my Idea Book. Can't wait to get started on the other series. This is so helpful. Thanks so much!
Thank you for doing this series. Enjoying learning new techniques. Didn’t really love the angle of the camera but it was ok. Thanks for the inspiration
Really enjoying the series and your ideas. It was hard to see what you were doing as you were far to the left and partially out of frame. Looking forward to the rest of your series. Thanks.
Thank you and my apologies for the angle. I was trying something different based on a request, but agree it’s not great. I got a new tripod that seems to show a better view.
Thank you for the sweet wishes! I, too, much prefer a different angle and my new tripod is making that possible. I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying this series!
Great series Cori, thank you for sharing! Love the use of paper that most people probably already have! Can’t wait to follow along. (New subscriber to you, thanks to Gayle mentioning you);☺️🇨🇦
Hey Cori, I followed a recommendation recently (sorry can’t remember who or where from) and found your amazing channel!! I’ve just started my flips, flaps and folds journey with you and I am LOVING it so far!! Thank you so much for this amazing inspiration and for generously sharing it all with everyone!! Off to Ep3😍
Love this series! Love the use of dictionary and ledger pages, sometimes it is hard to use them without completely covering the text or just using them for writing space. TFS!
Just found you and can’t get enough of your videos. ❤️❤️❤️ your your lace cover do you have a video on making that? You are inspirational thank you so much. xxx
Wonderful series! I appreciate all your hints and tips. I’ve just discovered your channel. I believe Gayle A. mentioned you in one of her videos. Thanks for what you do.
I start seeing your videos about 2 or 3 days ago. Congrats! I like it a lot! I like the 10' idea 💡,but I don't mind if it takes a few more... Keep up the excellent work 😁 Keep safe!
Fun folds, but I was really hoping to see how you lined the flaps so they laid so smoothly. Mine are always gluey and bumpy. Maybe that’s covered later on?
When lining any paper items I find success is all about the type of glue or adhesive you use. The type. the placement the amount. I'd love to say "thins product and technique works every time" but I have found that different things work for different people. I'm not a Fabri-tac fan, but others love it and swear by the results. I've been mostly happy using Gorilla brand glue stick for paper-to-paper adhesion. If I get bubbles or wrinkles, I'll run the completed item through my heated laminator, and that usually reactivates the glue and gives me a smooth finish. Of course, that's no always possible, but I do it when appropriate. I also love to sew pieces together, which is generally very forgiving of small mistakes.
Lol! I like to play with paper 😊 Usually my ideas are sparked by something I’ve seen someone else do. I see their idea and try it and ask myself “...what if?....” and there you go!
Cori QUESTIONS...your signatures are plain coffee papers but what size are they? Are they bigger than 8.5 x 11? When you stitch your signatures on to your cover, what length of stitch do you use? Is a longer stitch better for this? If you have answered these questions already please direct me to the link and I can watch it. Thanks again for sharing your creativity!!!
True story: I was editing (well, my version of editing, pathetic though it is) a video and I hit a wrong button and it listed all the comments folks have made that I hadn't received notification of. Yikes! So, I'm just seeing this and I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. Yes, the paper I used in this is longer. I picked it up at the Goodwill Outlet and it is 9 1/2" x 14". On my machine the largest straight stitch offered is a 4.5, so I bumped it up to that.
Anna from Pink Monarch Prints made one of these flip-up pockets. Please see her version and enjoy her wonderful video. ua-cam.com/video/tV6ChSSHL7M/v-deo.html
Someone may have asked but I cannot find the answer, but what’s going on with your Art Glitter Glue? Is that a glue eraser stuck to the side of the bottle?? I’m guessing the answer is in one of your videos but I’m still working my way thru all of them. TIA!!
Your videos are very knowledgeable but to the beginner they are very quick and confusing, the filming is so close that it doesn’t show the whole project, if someone wants to watch your process, slowing down and explaining it would help, watching a 15 minute video or a 1 hour video makes no difference, if we’re interested we will watch it. Talking fast and trying to create a short video isn’t always beneficial, love your creativity and have watched numerous videos you have done. Your very talented, keep up the awesome creating.
Thank you for the feedback. I try to keep the videos brief for those who haven't much time to craft and can't take an hour to watch a video. I do talk quickly and that is something I need to continually work to improve. I'm glad youre enjoying the videos and that you find them helpful.
Lol! My goal is to make them fairly short, so the people with limited viewing time can watch them and create the projects. I’m forever seeking a balance of speed and content.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd watch an hour long video from you! Thank you for sharing your talent and ideas with us. I love this one!
LOL! I sure have a few of those now!

I hear you! Maybe you could make the inserts, then go back and make the book when you have a bit more time. Thank you for watching.

Brilliant! I’ll be making some of these! Oh, and I give you my permission to go as long as you want! This is great stuff!!!

Oh you clever woman! I love this idea too, (even if you are not the creator).
Lol! I’m not the originator of most of these. I see something, usually on a flip through of an amazing journal, and I ask
myself how they made it!
Did you do a video of the cover? I love that!
Thank you and yes! It is the video with "doily" in the title. Happy creating!

Hi Sherri. I was forever losing the pin, so I used velcro and a foam blending tool bit to make a pin spot on the side of my bottle.
What is that plain tan colored paper you use in your projects? In this video the paper has the folder tabs on it.
Hello! The two different tan papers used in this journal are coffee dyed copy paper in the 11” x 14” size and Kraft cardstock that has been inked.
@@CoriDahmen Thank you ! I am so glad I found you :0)
@@Schypha thank you. It’s great to have you here 😊
Thanks. As you asked - I didn’t enjoy that camera angle so much x
I didn’t much care for it either. Thank you for letting me know!
Not loving the camera angle, but I do love your ideas! TFS. 🤗
I didn’t love it either. I got a new tripod and I think it’s better. I hope so anyway. Glad you are enjoying the projects 😊
Have a tutorial on how to make your scrapbook cover.
There is one. I don't remember the exact words in the title, but it says "doily cover" in it.

Same here, great flips but poor camera angle.
Thank you and I appreciate the feedback. Hopefully the new tripod makes viewing a little better 😊
No, please don't be shorter! I'm not smart enough to follow you at the speed you're going. Sorry!
Lol! My goal is to make them fairly short, so the people with limited viewing time can watch them and create the projects. I’m forever seeking a balance of speed and content.
