Steffi Graf is the greatest women. champion.No doubt Boris Becker is a great Champion.Very enterprising serve and volley player in the lines of John McEnroe,Stefan Edberg.Unfortunately McEnroe, Edberg and Becker could not win French open.Boris Becker did not work hard like Steffi Graf other wise he would have won more Grandslam tournaments.I was in Germany (west) during 1988-1990 for my advanced post doctoral research.The popularity of both Boris Becker and Steffi Graf was phenomenal during that time not only in Germany,but also in the rest of the world. Both of them are legendary Tennis players.

Graf is the best female player ever picked up a racket, and Boris would have won more Wimbledon if Sampras didnt stop him twice very hard and Stich had a very lucky day in 91...
Edberg also had very lucky days back in 88 and 90. Becker was far better and would never have lost against him if only he had he played his best tennis.
1995 Boris Becker was still only 27 years old, still in his prime. I believe he beat Agassi in the semi final that year.. of course Pistol Pete was just too good that day

Until 1990 it was sometimes called “West Germany“ since the communist GDR still existed. Steffi always played for Germany. Saying otherwise is an insult.

He made bad business investments but he trained Djokovic for 2-3 years and he's a commenator so I think his situation has improved a bit..but still shock in the system for him

Uchh, i remember sampras beating goran in the final, i think it was '93. I cried for 2 days. I never liked sampras.
