Hey! I’m 30. I am just now learning to take care of myself. I tend to take care of everyone else around me. My children and 2 and 4 and I’m leaving the baby stage behind- and I feel like it’s my time to figure out who I am. It’s easy to lose yourself in your children- but mother is just one role of many I play. I miss “Emily” and haven’t seen her in a while. This year I have a vision board that circles around the theme of finding myself. I’m going to start by getting ready. Taking the time for basic care for myself. Will my two year old destroy the house while this happens? Probably 🤣 thank you everyone for coming along

LMFAO at The Rock comparison! I love you. I can't tell you how much all your videos and shorts help me. Seriously. 3 yr old and a now 8 month old. I love them, I'd walk through fire for them, but I would also appreciate 5 minutes by myself where no one yells for mama or bursts in on me (or touches or looks at me HAH). Thanks for being you ❤️
Lol at Dwayne.. your videos always make me feel good. But you're right on the preparedness of the real shit. I'm at the stage now where my life revolves around driving them to all their "things" getting them ready and never having time to get myself ready so I always look disheveled. They are 5 and 6yrs old and I still never get a peaceful bathroom break.

My daughter just tirned 5, less than a month ago and I am “just” now working on “myself” everything has its time. I’m rooting for you and any other mommies that might be on this journey- no matter what step.

Looking cute! Dude, my kids are 3 and 1 and sometimes I go days without showering :( it brings me but on the rare occasions when I shower for consecutive days, I feel so good!
Also, I want to get my hair done but who has time (and money) for that? I told maybe maybe later this month. I also want to paint my nails but then they need to dry and I’ll going to have to change a diaper or make a snack 😫 mom life.
Mothering is so very hard and we should all be real with each other about it, instead of maintaining the facade of the "perfect household". Yet we all still do it. I say enough! Let your crumby minivan carpets show, and buy those store bought goods for the bake sale!!
