The Architect nous plonge dans un voyage à travers le monde et les styles: Hip Hop, Jazz, Electro, Soul, Funk... Passionné de vinyles et véritable digger averti, les platines ont toujours été son terrain de jeu favori. Beatmaker surproductif, il est aussi engagé dans différents side projects tels que L'Entourloop et Bloc.
Le succès de son premier EP "Foundations" sorti en 2013, comprenant plusieurs tubes tels que "Les Pensées" (8M de vues) ou "Dreader Than Dread (ft. Skarra Mucci & L'Entourloop)" (15M de vues), l'a amené à faire plus de 200 dates à travers le monde et cumuler plus de 35M de streams sur les plateformes.
Sept ans après, The Architect revient enfin avec avec son très attendu nouvel album intitulé "Une plage sur la lune", sorti le 12 juin 2020. Un album "casanier, avec une fenêtre ouverte sur le monde" comme il le décrit lui-même.

The Architect takes us on a trip through the world and styles: Hip Hop, Jazz, Electro, Soul, Funk... A true vinyl lover and real digger, turntables have always been his favorite playground. Hyperactive beatmaker, he is also engaged with different side projects such as L’Entourloop and Bloc.
The success of his first EP "Foundations" released in 2013, including several hits such as "Les Pensées" (8M views) or "Dreader Than Dread (ft. Skarra Mucci & L'Entourloop)" (15M views), led him to do more 200 shows around the world and accumulate more than 35M of streams on the platforms.
Seven years later, The Architect finally returns with a new single "Darling", the first single from his long-awaited new album entitled “Une plage sur la lune” to be released on June 12th, 2020. A "home-made album with a window open to the world" as he describes it himself.

La música propuesta por The Architect es un peregrinaje creativo e impuro a través del mestizaje global y otros tantos estilos consolidados como el Hip Hop, Jazz, Electro, Soul o Funk. Nos topamos con un auténtico amante del vinilo. Un adicto a buscar y cazar rarezas. Un auténtico “digger” cuyas armas favoritas desde siempre han sido los tocadiscos. Un campo de recreo ideal para un beatmaker de lo más hiperactivo. Además de su carrera en solitario, participa en diferentes proyectos paralelos, como L’Entourloop y Bloc.
El éxito de su primer EP “Foundations” (publicado en 2013), incluye varios exitazos como “Les Pensées” (con 8 millones de reproducciones) o “Dreader Than the Dread” (con Skarra Mucci & L’Entourloop, el cual suma más de 15 millones). Siete años después, The Architect ha por fin regresado trayéndonos singles como “Darling” o “Run” (feat. Reverie), ambos incluidos en su próximo LP titulado “Une plage sur la lune” el cual será publicado este próximo 12 de junio. Aunque antes debemos descubrir la canción “Watch Me Dance”. Con esta nueva pista el francés evoluciona en un terreno que ha decidido hacer suyo por completo: el sampleo. Un banquete sonoro donde se nos invita a viajar y a bailar. Se trata de una canción bastante desinhibida cuyo pilar es un cachito mágico de la banda de kabyle (rock argelino) de los años 80, Les Abranis. El resultado final es un delicioso revoltijo de hip hop, rock, Chaâbi y electro, todo bien dosificado por The Architect. Manteniendo la delicadeza y la poesía de sus inconfundibles ritmos. Muy pronto en nuestros oídos, el 22 de mayo.
“Une plage sur la lune”: un álbum creado íntegramente en casa que es toda una ventana abierta al mundo exterior… tal y como nos describe el propio artista.
