For it is by grace alone are ye saved by faith alone in Christ alone, in accordance with Scriptures alone to God's glory alone. Alleluia!
But there are other objective material arguments that might explain the reformation ; in particular the Guttenberg's innovation and the decline of illetrism. Historical oral tradition becoming less preeminent to the dispensation of the Word of God.
This argument might unveil a less laudable motivation based on the profit related to the printing, the diffusion and mass selling of Bibles into the population. Selling books to millions of people represented a huge profit perspective for publishers and local retailers and rulers.
Sometimes keeping pragmatic explains all we need to understand.
No guilt in life, no fear in death🎶🎶
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand
Faith alone in Christ alone
We have been saved by faith unto good works
Prepared for us by Christ that we should walk in them
Amen!
Feeling so uplifted by this word. God bless!
Thanks to the Lord for this world and thank you to the channel too. Is a big true.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
Amen! Praise Christ for this biblical message. 🙂
Thank you for this truth.
In Christ alone, my hope is found🎶🎶
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live, I live
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ
We are learning this at our Bible College I will utilize this to share with the students
Great message!
Thank You
Amen Amen!
Out of darkness into gospel light the reformation broke the chains of roman catholic
Superstition!
To be honest, these days, I don't think the problem is that professing Christians no longer believe in salvation by faith alone. The problem seems to be professing Christians think you can have ONLY "faith" and then live however you want.
Someone who is genuinely born again WANTS to obey God because they have been changed from the inside out. If you claim to be saved but have no desire for the things of God, you would be wise to obey 2 Corinthians 13:5:
"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?-unless indeed you fail to meet the test!"
Different tribes and groups have different strengths and weaknesses. If your church and Christian friends struggle with a false faith that does not lead to repentance and obedience, what do you and your leaders do to help address that?
Rome treats Baptism as if it were a magic spell
The Lord Jesus died for us on the cross is not what is to be believed for justification. This is not saving faith but assurance of faith. The Lord Jesus died on the cross for sinners is truly what is to be believed, as God has revealed it to us in His Word. Be wary when you are asked, “Do you believe that Jesus died for you on the cross?” That is, Jesus died for everyone including you. This may result in a natural excitement at the thought of it, in an emotional response only, giving rise to a false conversion experience that many people have had and also cling to. This is crucial. Be not deceived. “Ye must be born again.” We are commanded to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and to believe in Him for our salvation. The mind and heart of the new creature are both exercised in the conversion of the soul. The mind: Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross. The heart: I trust in Him alone for my salvation. The whole regenerate soul is active as being spiritually alive.
