I discovered cutting boards two years ago and I have used stained glass pictures of the gift reciepants Birth Month Flower. I have also used files that have a split design that I can add names. Example Judi's Kitchen. I love doing cutting boards.
Great video as always Angie. Most Epson printers can print borderless, an faded mask could be added or other options (print on legal paper, or save as a pdf and print as poster).
Thanks for the video, Angie! I made a gorgeous cutting board of my Grandma Angie's Pizza Rustica recipe, from a handwritten cookbook she titled Angie's Kitchen, coincidentally! When you mentioned that in the video, I was thrilled 😊
Thank you for all of this information. I am new to sublimation. I do have a clam shell heat press that I have never used yet. My question is - How do I know how much heat and how long to press items? Is everything different? I'm going to hopefully be making some jacket backs and I have no idea what time and temperature to use. Where do I find this info please? Thanks for all that you do. I really enjoy all of your videos.
Angie, thank you for a video that explains the process so well. What do you recommend for care instructions? I imagine hand wash only, but wanted to see what your thoughts were.
I was just about to say this! I work in a kitchen store and we sell a lot of knives. Glass or granite will dull your knife with one or two passes! I with they would market these as serving or cheese boards!
Beautiful printing and a wonderful idea. I work as a photographer and have an interest in sublimation printing, but unfortunately there are no people who give the information honestly and transparently. For example, you are now explaining about the cutting board and to what size you cut the board, but unfortunately, you did not mention the quality of sublimation paper, what brand, and the weight of the paper, as well as Also, you did not mention the type of printer or the type of ink you print on. This is basic information that you must mention so that the beginner and the trainee can benefit. As a photographer, when I explain a beautiful photo and how it was taken beautifully, I first mention the type of camera, what is the shutter speed, what is the size of the lens aperture, and I mention the type of flash, weather, and sensitivity. The camera processor and other information. If I said instead that the model was beautiful and I made it more beautiful during the instructions, the stance and the direction, this will certainly not benefit the trainee.
Angie explains in her other sublimation videos what type of printer she uses and what type of sublimation paper. Check them out! She has amazing videos!
@@cindyg957 Thank you for the clarification, but you must know that the type of printer and the type of paper and ink you use is one line or one sentence, and the public is the one who will finally decide who was honest with him and who was manipulating his time.
I have a variety of videos and do not go into the printing details with every video as it is a bit repetitive. Feel free to find another channel that fits your needs.

I like the birth month flower idea!

The one I have does NOT print borderless so I wanted to give options for those folks.

What brand is the rectangular cutting board? When I click the link it activates a virus protection warning to close window.
They are from Michaels and no virus warning when I click.
They're very beautiful, but, unfortunately, it's really hard on your sharp knives to use glass for a cutting board
Definitely not for everyone!

I use them to place hot foods and can be used as decor after not used. They are lovely..
What is this extra mat you are using
Artesprix heat protective mat.

Are the sublimation cutting boards safe to use
Yes these are. The sublimation coating and image are on the back. Food will touch the glass surface on top.
Replay- thanks
Any time!
