It's nice to hear how he wants to create for everyone, not just for comp climbers. Dual-tec is not my favorite, either, but they do change things up so it's not too bad to encounter them. Still, I prefer things that feel more "natural." He's a lovely person with such a creative mind... thanks for this interview!

Such a lovely video. The pride of making these beautiful holds really shone through. The respect that the shaper has for his craft and all climbers was truly touching!

I felt very touched by Masaki-san's comments about thinking of all climbers with his work. A great interview, and must have been a wonderful opertunity!

Amazing Video and interview! Every hold looks so beautiful and kind of natural. Also it was really pleased to see that Masaki Yasuda said all climbers, whether its a comp climber or not, are equally important. It is nice to hear that.

Hey man love the vids!!! Ive got some quick feedback for ya to improve the videos if you're interested
I found that the volume mixing was a little off... so in some clips the audio was low, and when I increased the volume it would be pretty loud after so I would have to change my volume again.
Don't forget to check the audio volume levels between clips! Thanks

i can only imagine how difficult the interview and filming process was for you haha
but you did a great job piecing it together
Surprised he let you film inside the studio! thats a huge priviledge! there must have been alot of footage you had to cut because you couldnt show certain things

"Do you try to create shapes that challenge fruit salads to be more creative?"
His response: "Personally, I don't like it"

Maybe I'm a freak but since outdoor holds often are everything but ergonomic I like indoor holds to be as awkward as possible 😂.
