She grew up loving Mariah and Whitney, and some of the vocal experts now say she actually has more control on her high notes that are every bit as high as her two idols! Just like Dolly Parton loved Whitney’s cover of her song, I think Dolly would love this version as well. I don’t think Dolly knew that when she wrote and performed this song back in the 70’s that people would still love it over 40 years later

Season 3 The first two seasons were of a group of well known Korean Entertainers , basically busking on the streets of foreign countries( I believe first two were in Europe, two or three countries per season! In 2020 it was decided to do the show in Korea because of the pandemic! It was done in front of small crowds with masks and social distancing and mostly out in the open at Parks , Businesses and Historic locations etc. My suggestion is another from this series! She sings a duet with another Amazing singer, Lee So-Hyun 1/2 of the duo, AKMU) By the way All the artists are much younger then SoHyang and most surprisingly are better known then she is, but having watched all, you see the awe and respect they all have for her, and the fun she has with them! The song is, Flashlight! They way their voices mesh, the harmonies are Amazing ! Hope you Love it as much as I do! Personally I do not have a Favourite SoHyang Performance , I have a Top 20 and it changes frequently. So much variety and quality delivered by this humble Artist! PS. Absolutely beautiful voice she is gifted that is no doubt or disagreements there. She is the only vocalists that can even begin to hit this song as close to the original artist. However, to me there is only one person that this song belongs to and is hers and that is Whitney Houstin always may she finally be at peace. I would definitely call this the closest tribute and gifted talent that comes and respects the closest even to Whitney’s voice ever
I loved Whitney from her first album but I have to say that I never heard her recreate a live version of this song that was near her studio version. I am not saying anyone else did either. But this might be nearly as good and it was recorded on a dock in a breeze. Not much of a studio setting.

As good as it is, the show this is from (Begin Again) is so chock full of impossibly great performances from a good half-dozen performers, this doesn't particularly stand out.
Don't agree at all and i think her fellow performers would tell you the same.. Tons of great performances by all for sure. But several of hers stand out and this is one of them clearly..

For my money, I thought Jukjae's impromptu performance of his own song, "The Door", for the two fans that came just to see him, and his emotional breakdown into tears right after it was more powerful on every level, particularly sincerity.
