After taking a hiatus from this game, I came back to get complete Top Secrets. Thanks to your video, I was able to complete it after 12 or so tries. Thank you!
I've watched many guides, but yours is the one that actually helped. You pause, take breaths and actually explain things. Fight time 4m17 (real world over an hour watching, pausing and copying you). Messed up Chocobo and Leviathan went very badly, but Bahamut melted. Two attempts and done, very good guide!
I decided to platinum Remake before starting Rebirth and was hard stuck on this challenge for a while. Everything went good till Ifrit showed but once Bahamut was down. Easy to solo Ifrit. By far the easiest giude to follow. BIG THANKS!!!!!!
Hello, thank you very much my friend for your guide 😊 I was struggling terribly with this challenge on the ps4 version, but thanks to your guide I finally succeeded! The strange thing is that the ps5 version didn't cause me as much trouble. For those who also can't get through it, don't give up and do everything as in the guide and you will definitely succeed in the end. Great channel, best regards.
I can't believe that this video is 2 years old. I just beat it with your help. One thing that I did was that I put the TV on mute while I listened to you. Thank you so much!
One hell of a guide. I ended up missing the timing on Bahamut, took him down with a whirlwind and divekick, was about to give up and ended up being Ifrit. Pride and Joy was so easy to cheese. Thanks a ton
Yeah sometimes the Bahamut fight can get a bit messy. My mistake was trying to pound him with spells straight away after the first pressured stun. Wait until his countdown stops instead then pound him with spells again when he you see him cast umbral aura and this way you get more time on his second pressured stun.
Just wanted to say thanks, really struggled with this, tried many guides, and this is definitely the best one. If you follow this full guide step by step (i paused multiple times each battle to gather the next set of moves) you will beat this in a few tries. Feels like cheating but better than banging my head on the table for 50 hours and this made me a better player. Thanks again!
Hands down, this is the best guide for this challenge. I tried so many other guides, but could exactly replicate the results. Kudos bud, this one is perfect
Thank you! Was able to finally complete this using your guide, had no chance without it. I had Bahamut summon Ifrit, but a pair of elemental + fire materia made that easy, some of his attacks didn't interrupt!
Incredibly well put together guide. I managed on my 2nd try - I even screwed up and had Ifrit summoned, but somehow blagged my way into beating him. All of your Shinra combat sim guides were lifesavers. Thank you.
THANK YOU! After a whole afternoon and about 30 tries, I finally beat this challenge. I was left with just Tifa with almost no life at the end... but I prevailed thanks to you.
I've watched many and many videos a year ago, never actually done it, all those materia, tactics and all but something always would go wrong. In my first try with your tutorial, with less materia, less almost everything, I did it first try, FIRST TRY, almost insane because I didn't ever go up against Pride and Joy before. Thanks for the guide.
Thank you so much for this. I was struggling for hours using other guides. You made it so easy for me! I had put revival and healing and barrier on just in case but i didnt even need to use those at all. Took me two tries. First time i died to pride and joy second i beat him. Bahamut summoned ifrit both times but i had cloud equipped with elemental fire in armour. Every other guide i always died at either bahamut or leviathan. Yours got me to pride and joy both times. I can't thank you enough! I was struggling so much I was gonna give up on my platinum!!! Thank you so much!!! Now to go through the story on hard mode and then I'm done!
Your guides are incredible, my friend. They basically handed me the platinum in Rebirth and got me back into Remake for the Platinum there, too. Getting into your Patreon is the least I could do. I truly wish you the best and hope you get to the point when you could do this for a living if that's what you're striving for. Cheers!
Just cleared this today. Took me about a good 6 hours to finish it. Thank you so much for the step by step guide! ❤ P.S. Bahamut managed to summon Ifrit on my playthrough, but then I killed him seconds after. So I still had to kill Ifrit as a "solo" boss before P&J 😆
OMG your guide truly helped me beat this boss fight!!! I struggled with leviathan for a second but melted bahamut and pride and joy! Thank you so much you are awesome!!!
I screwed up on Leviathan and this guide still carried me. Thanks! (Leviathan recovery: if he starts doing his flying charge attacks block, keep using Thundaga with whoever lived and pray.)
l just want to say thank you for this great guide. I didn't have weapons fully levelled and opted to put heal and revive materia on each person. Was amazing to finally beat Bahamat and Ifrit, only for Pride and Joy to nearly wipe my team out near the end. I'm so glad its done now, and will subscribe for your other content. 😊
Thank you so much for this guide!!! Beat it on my second try! Messed up a few times on the leviathan and bahamut fights, but I brought a magnify healing materia with Aerith just in case and that helped loads.
Gotta be honest, I was stuck on Leviathan's round for a while today, but I managed to do it. Your two guides on this were helpful AF! Appreciate it, mate.
Out of all the guides, this is the one that did it for me on the PS4 version. I am a bit further in progression than this, so was able to take a little more materia with me, and glad I did. I failed to stunlock Bahamut enough to prevent Ifrit, but had taken Elemental=Fire on Tifa and Cloud in armour which nullified him. Was able to pretty much ignore him and stick with the tactic in the video until Bahamut was down, then just pummel Ifrit with Tifa. Was able to keep P&J stunlocked other than a couple of times where I missed some ATB assists, but nothing I couldn’t recover from. Only the second time I’d reached him and I had him. The one that gave me the most bother was Leviathan but only because i struggled to get the stagger in before it started moving around the arena and get a bit RNG with it’s positions and attacks. All in all around 5 or 6 attempts following this video and I got it. Thanks for the video dude!
BRO THANK YOU SO MUCH I FINALLY DID IT. I did mess up a bit at the end cus Tifa died when I tried to dodge the Beam Cannon but I managed to beat Pride and Joy with just Aerith and Cloud. Thank you!
Many thanks, for pausing in between, it was very helpful. Been fighting these guys for more than 48 hrs straight, was unable to get past leviathan, thanks for such easy set up :)
Tha k you so much for this guide, I've been going through this fight and trying for 2 weeks. Finally beat this today and it's all thanks to you. I'll be getting rebirth shortly and look forward to your help on that one as well. Keep up the great work
Thank you so much!!! I just beat this on my 3rd attempt. I killed Behemoth my first attempt too he was no issue at all. My only issue was Leviathan I couldn't kill use the abilities fast enough and he ended up wiping my team 2 times before I finally got him. The strategy on Shiva, Fat Chocobo, Behemoth, and Pride and Joy worked great. Leviathan is just very random I assume. You made this challenge so easy. I did this with 256 SP and at level 50 before I played hard mode.
Great video - I must have attempted this about 20-30 times, always getting stuck on Leviathan then on Bahamut. You're absolutely right when you say that timing is everything. The window to execute correctly is very small, at least with Leviathan and Bahamut. Keep up the great work!
I can pull off Bahamut consistently, Leviathan 2 in 6 times will not go to plan due to timing like you say and a unlucky sequence of his attacks. I would usually just restart if Leviathan goes wrong as it's not too long into it
Thank you so much for thoroughly explaining the strategy. I was able to beat the challenge on the third try! First two fails were both with Shiva, while I didn’t realize that you could gain ATB assist already before the second focused strike is finished. Once knowing that, it’s really simple!
Thanks for the guide. I'd like to echo the other comments and say that this was the only one that really worked for me. Even though my Leviathan fight was a lot more scuffed and somehow Bahamut managed to spawn Ifrit!
Great video dude, I checked the other one and had a couple of problems after checking this one and doing almost everything exactly as you did I finally completed it after a lot of trial and error. I started to get constant with Shiva and Fat Chocobo, when I got to Leviathan I couldn't finish him while staggered, but I could while we has floating with a couple of Thundagas, my second try with Bahamut went smoothly until the second time he got pressured, I also couldn't finish him and he summoned Ifrit on me. After a couple more tries he did the same but killed him almost as soon as he summoned him. I had to fight Ifrit though, but I had Cloud equiped with Elemental-Fire in armor so it was a cake-walk in that, and I finished the battle with Pride & Joy on my first try, Thanks a lot for the tips and easy to understand explaining, now I have to finish the main story on Hard and that's a platinum for me. Cheers man!
I did thanks to your strategy! I l know im super late but I'm finally beating the game on hard mode now and thanks to your guide I completed this! When I got to bahamut I pressured him and he still managed to ifrit while I was launching firagas in the arcane ward at him. Still ended up beating both him and ifrit though lol thanks man!
Thank you so VERY VERY MUCH, Opti. I played this when it first came out and followed another guide to try and get platinum. It was a decent guide but nowhere near as good as yours. I spent like 20 hours trying to beat Bahamut and he always killed me with that world killer attack because I couldn't DPS him fast enough but you made it so much easier to follow. Now I'm gonna do intermission and get 2 more gotter's then follow your hard mode guide to easily polish this game off. Thank you again.
oh man, i lost tifa at the start of p&j and i was panicking, but i just kept switching mc and using thunder, and i managed to keep him stun locked. thanks again dude im sure you'll see a lot more support from me.
This Guide really helped me doing this! If you're like me and mess up the timing on Bahamut all the time, just equip Elemental/Fire on two Characters' Armor and let him come :P
Decided to finally do a hard run 100% before the sequel came out. I'm not sure I would have made this one without your amazing video guide! :) Thanks for it!! :) On top of it, I failed Leviathan (he got away and i had to use WAY more mp to kill him), then Bahamut (I ran out of MP when he was dying) and he summoned Ifrit on top of it (fortunately i had elemental fire so that one was easy), Then I messed up the timing with the final one as well, he grabbed Tifa and silenced both the others! But I kept going and made it through!! :)
This guide is the only way I was able to beat this challenge! Thank you for being so detailed in your explanations, they helped me to understand how this build is able to destroy these enemies.
THX, got it on first try. Leviathan was the hardest and I messed up a bit, but still beat them all. Hope we'll keep most of our nice materia and Exp for part 2 :)
I have been trying from yesterday on your previous guide and other guides . But today when I 100% followed this video I made it from one try . Thank you very much 🥰 ❤️
Add me to the list of people who can thank you for this guide finally getting me over the hump with Top Secrets. I definitely didn't execute it nearly as well as you, and I was doing this after I already had ground a lot of materia to max (so I had better stats), but after a lot of failures, I finally broke through. Now onto trying Weiss again, but I am just so bad at dodging...
This guide is AMAZING! Did it on my third try (Leviathan & Chocobo did act kinda random but Bahamut went down like a fly) :D Can't thank you enough for this!!! Your explanations are also top! Good work, really!
Excellent video. I got it on my 2nd try, the first time Bahamut destroy me and summoned Ifrit, the fight was really random. The next time i almost died to Pride and Joy because i ran out of MP lol. 10/10
This fight caused me so many problems, however even though I am not good with this style of fighting, this strategy is by far the best one, I had to pivot a little when I got to Leviathan and Bahamut, especially as I was not fast enough to stop Ifrit from being summoned but managed to beat them all, Thank you for this guide.
@@Optinooby I followed the guide pretty much precisely and it worked quite well. I was a bit slow with Pride and Joy because my heart racing and both Tifa and Aerith got killed so I revived Aerith with Cloud and then he died. Then I just kept hitting him with Aerith in his last sliver of health till it was gone. Very stressful but done. Now working my way through hard mode. Thanks for an excellent guide. Recommending this to anyone stuck on this.
You obviously have alot of experience doing walkthroughs been stuck on the top secrets for over 2 years finally got to proud clod and he wiped me lol bit a great video gonna give this a try soon
The first three fights can be quite easy, I was actually using Cloud’s Twin Stinger and Aerith’s Reinforced Stick and always got through them but couldn’t quite finish Bahamut. I switched to your exact weapons and beat it in three tries! The extra magic attack is really needed to get Bahamut to fall down in the beginning. He also summoned Ifrit towards the end but I had Elemental+Fire on Cloud’s armor so he just healed me. Pride and Joy almost got me after he grabbed Tifa but I still managed to kill him. For some reason when I went back to prepare for Weiss’s fight everyone was just staring at me as if they knew I had made them fight a virtual dragon for over an hour lol. Thank you for this guide!
So I just used the remaining sp on my weapons for more materia and used another hp+, atb stagger for all, elemental for cloud and aerith on fire for both and tifa with healing and magnify. I could get past Shiva and Chocobo with the strategy but had to resort to actual combat in between with Leviathan. Bahamuth was able to summon and probably because I just didnt pay attention, but I switched to Cloud as soon as Bahamuth was down to take on Ifrit with immunity to fire. I was also interrupted with the final fight but it was also workable since I could heal my party. I have exacly 256 sp and did get 3 fury rings but didnt want to get the bangle since I missed it.
After so many time, finally manage to win, your guide help me a lot, even tho i not 100% perfect, my tifa died at the first moment by the beam of the last one, so no atb assist, luckily equipped cloud element materia with lightning, and keep running around and use thunder, and summon bahamut. Only have 1 fury ring so i improvise with amulet and that other accessories that increase mp and magic. Thanks again.
At first I had a hard time with timing and following along. Went out, got drunk and for some reason my coordination and speed was so much better following your guide. Tifa died at the beginning of RD5, but Cloud Aerith Thunder combo carried to the end.
Cleared it! I did get lucky during the bahamut fight. I didn't stagger him properly towards the end and he ended up bringing in ifrit. Cloud was the last one standing with Fire absorb armor. After cloud took down Bahamut, ifrit was a breeze because every hit just gave him HP.... Talk about luck!
I've done it , I've done it yeah yeah , although I have to try like 30 times , cause I didn't quite get all the materia but I've done it , so happy , thanks to you
Absolute fucking legend. Thank you so much for this. I was looking at other guides for this but their strats weren't working and was ready to rip my hair out until I found this one
Thank you so much! I managed to defeat them all even with non maxed out materia. I was too lazy to grind. I did run out of MP during the final fight, and had to use their abilities to make up for it. Your guide definitely works with derp mistakes 😅👍
Thanks a lot. Got it fourth try. Couldn't replicate Bahamut. So elemental+fire on Tifa, magnify+healing on Aerith : Ifrit goes down surprisingly quick with Tifa and then you can go back to the firaga on arcane ward and it's over. Pride and Joy is a joke.
Damn this guide is bad ass, simple no command canceling nonsense just to the point strategy. I screwed up a little and got P&J in a delayed loop and he hit both Aerith and Cloud with silence. Another attempt though and I had it, still stupid how you have to restart everything.
I tried multiple other guides and they were all a little bit too confusing at certain parts especially the Leviathan battle. Using this guide I was actually able finish the battle sim and get my Platinum trophy.
De madre me vale este video, ya pensaba que no podía hacerlo con otras guías pero esta ha sido la caña, las peleas contra Leviathan y Bahamunt... bien fáciles la verdad. Buena guía!
@@Optinooby haha it was ifrit and bahamut at the same time 🤣 really tough dealing with both of them whilst bahamut can insta kill you if you forget about him
is your build, equipment and weapon nodes load out exactly the same?? Leviathan is a little RNG, but shouldnt be that low probability, so sounds like something is not quite the same. For me, Leviathan usually has a 75% chance to do the moves which lead to me beating him quickly, the other 25%, I would just improvise or restart. But to fail 30 times, yea something sounds different, either you're slower or build is different mate as I mentioned above
I hate Leviathan too even going along with these videos. Sometimes I feel it can still get a bit messy against Leviathan sometimes

Yeah sometimes the Bahamut fight can get a bit messy. My mistake was trying to pound him with spells straight away after the first pressured stun. Wait until his countdown stops instead then pound him with spells again when he you see him cast umbral aura and this way you get more time on his second pressured stun.

Thank you brother iv been stuck on him for a year so i gave up but followed you step by step and got it done im over the moon keep up the awesome work
Thanks for the guide to completing this challenge. Conserving MP on Leviathan and Bahamut was what was keeping me from winning in the final fight.
Thank for this guide! My heart was racing when I actually beat Bahamian since I knew the pressure was on after that. Luckily the last boss is simple.
Dude thank you so much for this. I beat it today, couldn’t even get past Leviathan before. Your advice was spot on.

I followed every vid u posted bro all worked. Great guides easily explained. Thank you and much appreciated
finally done it. thank you so much!!! subscribed for part 2 of FF7R this Feb 2024!
Thanks for the guide. Finally got this done after giving up on platinum 3 years ago. Feels good.
Followed this to a T and beat it on my first go around (after many failed attempts on my own). Great guide!
BEST GUIDE for this. Got it first try and wasn't able to do so with the others. Many thanks!
Wow, very good job pal, 1st time!!
God-tier strategy! Worked like a charm! Thank you! 👍
U sir. R the goat. Could beat this so I drop the game for 5 months. Came back and on my third try.
Thanks for your guidance. Never did avoid summoning Ifrit, though. Surprisingly, I persevered and took him down.
Best strategy video out there. Thanks for helping me get the Platinum!
Your FFVII remakeguides carried me through hard mode. Thanks!
You are a godsend! I'll be tagging this video in my achievement video!
This is easiest guide to follow and helped me to get through this pain. Thank you alot!
Just used his strategy and beat it on my first try!! Amazing video!!!!
Now this guide was awesome! so much detail and made this so achievable, learned a ton!
I finally beat bahamut thanks to your methods man it was pain in the ass but at least I got the gotterdammerung now I also subbed
Just got the plat, cant wait for your rebirth guides next year if you play it!
I've done it , I've done it yeah yeah , although I have to try like 30 times , cause I didn't quite get all the materia
but I've done it , so happy , thanks to you
Absolute fucking legend. Thank you so much for this. I was looking at other guides for this but their strats weren't working and was ready to rip my hair out until I found this one
Dude…… you are epic and this is the best guide I’ve used. Thank you 🙏
1st try thanks this guide, came back to plat the ps4 version after rebirth, couldn't of been any easier!!
Buena guía!
Thank you for the thorough guide! Helped me a lot!
Bro you're the goat. Only video that was able to help
I know I’m late to the party but just beat top secret with your method, SUBSCRIBED
This is a really good guide; it gets me to Bahamut then I just get absolutely wrecked 😔
Update: finally did it after a couple tries. I’m literally shaking 😭 thanks for the guide!!
Yup still true! Only guide I can easily follow and easy to execute!!
Thank you man. About three hours in, just made It!!
Woohoo! Thankyou soo much. Even with full weapons i just could never get past bahamut with other guids. Thanks so much
Even tho all my mp,magic up and atb assist materia wasn’t maxed I still got it first try thx to this and got the platinum 😊
I did this challenge yesterday and struggled badly you made it look like a cakewalk bravo
You will get it mate with a bit of practice.
@@Optinooby haha it was ifrit and bahamut at the same time 🤣 really tough dealing with both of them whilst bahamut can insta kill you if you forget about him
u are my hero!!!! Ty so much bro after 2 tries i did it
Wow. Great guide! This took me moooonths.
is your build, equipment and weapon nodes load out exactly the same??
Leviathan is a little RNG, but shouldnt be that low probability, so sounds like something is not quite the same. For me, Leviathan usually has a 75% chance to do the moves which lead to me beating him quickly, the other 25%, I would just improvise or restart.
But to fail 30 times, yea something sounds different, either you're slower or build is different mate as I mentioned above
Finally fucking did it. Bahamut was able to summon Ifrit, but he's pretty easy by himself.
Got platinum last night. Amazing game can’t wait for part 2
