You wont be disappointed. Futaba is the best. Im 61 years of age and im flying rc planes almost 39 years. Ive never had any other brand other than Futaba. It never ever gave me a single problem in all that time. You have made a good decision and i wish you well. Happy landings.
@@easystar123 Thank you Aiden I think so to most of the guys at the local flying field have Futaba as well and they highly recommend as well I just couldn't go past it especially when my local hobby shop supplies them. 🙌
You can't go wrong with Futaba! I finally went out to my local sanctioned R/C club and was wildly unprepared! I don't care because I'm already excited to go again!
@@SeansLittleBayofHorrors Hi Sean no Futaba is amazing and I am so happy with it. And so great to hear you got out to your local flying field and you are super keen on more RC plane flying it is a lifestyle that will hook you forever. 😊
@mitchcooperRC I flew my first r/c plane 30 years ago! But I took soooo long away from the hobby I feel like a newbie all over again! But now I get to share it with awesome people across the planet!
@SeansLittleBayofHorrors That is amazing Sean that would be a great feeling starting new again I love the process and just happy right where I am at thank you for sharing with us all. 🙌
Great decision. I've been using Futaba since I started modeling RC cars in 6th grade (1985). It's a great and easy to use bulletproof system. I second what Bob said....ya gotta do a proper range check.
@@ChunkyC_RC Thank you glad you find Futaba a great choice I know it's a great brand and have full confidence in them. And thank you will be sure to do a proper rang check
Good on you for the new transmitter but the range test you did is pointless unless you put it into low power mode. I can't help you with Futaba but they are excellent.
@@bobi2582 Ok thank you can you explain the difference between what I did and having it in low power mode?? Lucky there was no issues and think everything was good either way. 👍
I have a t6j, to range check it, hold down the mode key while turning on the power, tje transmitter will beep one time every three seconds until it reaches 90 seconds, then the transmitter will beep two times and return to normal.
@@mitchcooperRC In full power mode you would need to move about 1km away to check the range along the ground. In low power mode, most transmitters should still work up to about 30 meters way before you start to loose any signal. If you join a good club, and expert will be able to demonstrate this for you. Best of luck.

@@thepilotrider Thank you I really like Flysky too I went Futaba as a lot of guys I fly with are Futaba.
