NOSTALGIA ATTACK i remember seeing this commercial on my TV YEARS Ago it's probably because of that lady with pigtails that's what gave me the flashback.
I was lying in bed trying to sleep after a stressful day when this for some unknown reason crawled out of the deepest crevices of my mind at random I haven’t thought about this in 15 years and I had to look it up to make sure it was real and not a fever dream I had as a kid. If you’re reading this and in the same boat, I hope you’re doing well.
Oh my cow I loved this DVD so much as a kid 💚💚 whenever I need something happy and nostalgic I watch some Safe Side Superchick! And it’s true, you definitely do learn to be more cautious.
@@jacestrohmeyer3181when I worked at Marshall’s, we watched a Code Adam instructional video but I had no idea the system was named after John Walsh’s deceased son.
I remember my teacher showed us this in the 1st grade. It was a fun way to learn about Stranger Danger and how to stay safe. Now I’m showing this to my nieces and nephews to help them stay safe too
Oh god. My dad used to make me watch this when I was younger. It actually used to scare me for some reason, Lmao. Now that I'm 16, it just looks kinda corny XD.
It was def the siren. I feel like it was one of the situations where the commercial was way louder than the show, so it always made my heart drop when it unexpectedly came on the screen lol
•I can't believe that this has even one bad review. Then again, it's probably just the creeps that have commented...•Honestly, If are thinking about buying this this and want an honest opinion from someone who has watched and learned from watching this as a child... I watched this in elementary school, and I loved it. IT HONESTLY DOES HELP KIDS... it taught me about safety and what to do if I was put in a dangerous sad situation. •Thanks for posting this!
I started working at a Starbucks in a grocery store they mad us watch a video about what to do if a kid goes missing in the store and John Walsh came out and right when I heard him say "hi I'm John Walsh" I lost it cause this video took over my mind In that moment
I remember watching this on Commercial Breaks, it was pretty Much of a Corny thing now today but it was sad tragic what happened to John Walsh son, but yeah Now today it's a suckfull awful generation I'm living I miss the early 2000s I wish I was born back in the 90s.
I hated this commercial as a kid and I prayed that it my mom came into the room when this commercial came on because I feared that she’d order the DVD and make me to watch it with her. Of course I already knew about the dangers of kidnapping and to never talk to strangers. My parents made sure to tell me all about that. This DVD looked cringey and the SuperChick looked weird and off putting with that Hairstyle.
You know you grew up in the 2000s when you remembered seeing this on TV everyday.
Yep

I’m glad this actually existed and it’s not like a creepy Mandela effect.

I feel bad for John Walsh since I heard back that back in 1981 his son Adam got kidnapped and murdered by Ottis Whales. RIP Adam Walsh 1974-1981
If you work retail, they teach you about Code Adam, which was named after his son, which is missing children

I think Julie Clark and John Walsh did a very good job making that movie.
Uh huh and they also created another one about Internet safety too.
If you weren’t forced to watch this in elementary school, your childhood wasn’t lit.
My Childhood ❤️🥹 I Had This DVD
I was going fucking insane looking for this, I swore it existed and couldn’t find it
How do I still remember this?
In P.E. in elementary school, They played this in the half middle of school.

I don't know why, but this infomercial used to scare me when I was a kid. It's nostalgic seeing it now though.

"The Safe Side is NEVER FREIGHTENING"
What do you call that "chick's" hairdo then?
I seen this commercial when I was little, and watched it in Elementary school in 4th grade!!!!
Mommy that chick with the weird hair wants me to trust her.

I always had a thing for the quirky safe chick.
I wish I had this when I was a kid. The safety propaganda we had when I was a kid was fear mongering, and terrifying.
I'm on it! Thats why I looked it up.
ohhh the old infomercial memories. they seem to never go away after watching this. What's this? 2002?
