Your daughter is adorable. I love her matching outfit; pink shoes and a pink top. And it's always good seeing Cody too. You and the other Robert are good history teachers and always show respect for the departed. The inscriptions you find on gravestones are beaautiful and touching. .A book containing the inscriptions you've discovered so far, along with some of your photographs, and the evolving history of grave markings, from fieldstones to more elaborate monuments, would be fascinating. I've mentioned this in a comment on another video, but I'll mention it here again: I love how you and the other Robert are able to read the land.
Love the behind the scenes. Grandpa always said, made several appearances..the best was with your daughter, she is sweet. She is very lucky to have such a great Dad.
I smiled so big when I saw the girl. I just knew she was related ! She looks just like you !! She’s so pretty and I’m glad she’s getting an education in history from the best !
I so enjoy when the two Robert’s are together. “The other Robert” always gives a unique historical perspective to your adventures. He introduces us to the people whose names grace their headstones and honors their legacy. Your little girl is beautiful. I’m so glad you’re introducing her to history. We need that now. Young people need to know true history.
Today would have been my dad's earthly birthday. But in 2006 he moved to Heaven. His remains are well taken care of in a Veteran's Cemetery near Spooner, WI. Bless you guys for preserving history for families!
Jo Ellen Broetzmann I'm sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose a Parent. My Dad passed away in 1999 an my Mother in 2001, I have also lost 2 Younger Brothers 1 in 2005, an the youngest Brother in 2019. It's always sad to lose a family member.
So interesting, Robert’s! I know that these folks are smiling down on y’all from Heaven and thanking you for bringing their memory alive once again. Thank you for your hard work and dedication and especially for sharing this past history with us❣️
There is nothing more satisfying to me than interacting with our Children in outdoor activities. I commend you two for bringing the little one out to explore History, it's very educational and an activity that will stay with them for a lifetime. Young Parents take note, pacifying a young Child with an electronic device is a dangerous thing to do, (only my opinion). Excellent video and great work guys and gals!👍
I love to listen to "the other Robert", thankyou Sir, for your sense of humour, and wonderful local history, and knowledge. Please take care. Robert should have brought you more water! 👍👍
I think children understanding cemeteries and the incredible history of them is really important and helps get rid of that fear of cemeteries. You bringing her along for this is something that you can tell she really enjoyed and appreciated. Good on you! : )
Other Robert is a hard working man!👍Grandpa said,"Can't fault that." You have a beautiful daughter, smart, too. Yogi Bear knew how to find a good "pic a nic" basket didn't he?🐻Good thing to know.🥪🍔🍖🍗🥗🍉 Interesting finds today...always something to see when you Sidestep.👍💞💞💞Love from KY.
Loved this video, love it when y6ou are out and about finding and cleaning old neglected cemeteries. Thank you Robert and Robert and Cody. Glad to see your daughter helping too.
This sooo amazing!! How you guys take time to find these graves. So much history!! Never know what people are building on top of something’s and why some homes or businesses have certain energies!
Well Robert's it's always a nice day to see you 2 together. Robert Your Daughter is very Pretty an spending time with family is always nice. I'm so glad you both came back to the Cemetery to do more looking and uncovering. Thank you both for sharing this Video.
This was a very nice video on your discoveries of the 180 yr old cemetery. Your daughter is adorable and enjoyed her interactions with the other Robert. You all have such respect for the people that were here before us.
Beautiful daughter, Robert! 🥰 She’s adorable too! Great job with this old Cemetary!:Love the care y’all take with each of the graves. Keep up the great work! And the kindness that you give each other in teaching and in learning! Lol 😝
She’s a cutie, ROBERT!!! - GREAT JOB ‘other Robert!’ These old graves found covered up in the woods tell us so much history we need to know about. Got plenty of them up here in KY. Thanks for these videos! 👍👍
I love how you can drum up 𝕤𝕠 𝕞𝕦𝕔𝕙 history from seemingly ordinary pieces! Your knowledge is always impressive - you wear the title of Historian very well. Me: Sees ordinary bricks laying in the ground. Robert: These bricks are all hand-made and reused from a building demolition to mark these graves. They used bricks rather than marble or granite because it was after the war and they were poor. The short, unmarked graves are children - counting 4 or 5 all together. Me: 😭😭🤧 Robert, your daughter is a doll. I bet she had fun hanging out with you guys!
Not sure what you mean 'table leg'. Lovely to see the 2 Roberts and your sweet little girl. I started going to old cemeteries with my mother when I was young. Now I love history, local and other.
Thank you for doing this and honoring these people!! Wish you all could get some help from historians, someone with ground penetrating radar or archaeological help. This would be such a good learning experience for so many people.
I almost made you a grave at Crestlawn Cemetery in Atlanta, Robert. I had a heart attack the day before Halloween. It was mild enough. They are treating it with meds. After a 4 day visit in the hospital.
Your daughter is beautiful what is her name. Glad she is joining you in your cemeteries discovery. Now i thought the last time you were there with the family. They were going to clean up the family cemetery? So what happen to them cleaning it up?
7:20. Probably a version of what's called a corner post. These are used to mark the outer corners of a burial lot. The ones sold now usually have an initial carved in.
Hi Robert and the gang is your daughter going to be adventures like you nice to see other Robert he is so knowledge I could listen talking history of the places 😀 Andrew south wales 👍 😀 uk 👍
Hello Robert and The Other Robert...Have you ever heard of the supposedly Egyptian tradition That says a person dies 3 deaths? The first is when the body stops breathing. The second when the body is placed in the crypt/grave. The third and final death occurs when your name is spoken for the last time. Thank you for what you do. You breathe new light into the forgotten souls of the past. Ps. Is Cody your son?
There’s a cemetery one for black and one for white people in El Cove SC. Old people but one black lady Elsa was in her coffin and buried and her sister asked them to dig her up so she could see her but she had been in the ground a couple of hours, so when she had the coffin opened she sat up and was smiling at her sister.

How doubly sad to lose a child & then have to bury them in unnamed graves. Life was so hard back then.

One clearance by the tractor, another by the trusty old rake!

Was that the cemetery where Major Mitchell is buried?
Are you and the other Robert related?
