As a Scotsman who adopted Hull City as their English team when they first got promoted to the Premier league, seeing this was beautiful. To get a well crafted insight into historic moments and matches like this is fantastic. Thank you
Just teared my way through that. What times, 30 years i'd been waiting for that elation. That overused word, heroes, really did apply to that team. Thank you Phil.
Thankyou to acun and his media team for making this for us ! Amazing video
Phil Brown is an absolute gem. He always had, and still has, the ability to find the words that resonated with City fans. Nationally, people make fun of him but I love the bloke. Hero.
Love the KC Stadium, Hull's a great club, my only live Hull match was a 6-0 win against Bolton, brilliant day at the football.
This is brilliant and brought back some absolutely wonderful memories, especially hearing it from the heroes side too! What a team!
PHIL BROWN im proud of you mate. I thank you for putting Hull on the footballing map
My heart swells with pride, God Bless Phil Brown legend!
Absolute goosebumps
What a great season this was ,and that 2nd leg was a fantastic night. Some true legends of our club helped us get promoted that season, an Phil (the tan ) Brown also Brian Horton.
It still feels like yesterday, where have the years gone. Epic times, never to be forgotten.
Loved this. Sir Ian Ashbee will always be a LEGEND!
Amazing memories, the best atmosphere ever at the Kc. UTT
Watching that makes you realise what a special group of characters we had in the club at that time. Down to earth, hard working, with an inner belief, resilience and bond that carried an isolated, unfashionable club to heights us fans never thought we'd ever get to see. The good thing is that Daws and Rosie I think understand the importance of that bond, that character, resilience and togetherness... let's hope they can help replicate it
Awesome memories.
Brilliant memories. Great words Phil. Browny just got it, the club, the fans, the area, legend. Wasn't even worried going to Wembley he's right it was just destiny. Still get goosebumps watching Caleb's goal go in, finally knew after all those years we had something to show for it, cried my eyes out at the time cos my Dad was no longer around to see it. If anything that goal means more to me than Deano's in the final 😂
well, im from ull(no i didnt miss the h lol.) what a fantastic video this is. thanks phil, i shook your hand outside of albert lol. also nick i shook your hand at an 80s night at new theatre . dean you dont need an introducton you legend. thank you HULL CITY for making me PROUD
Frazier Campbell seemed like he was such a promising talent.
Real shame to see how his career ended up. Really expected more from him.
Either way, I’ll never forget his contribution to this teams promotion campaign! Him and windass were sensational!!
Absolutely brilliant memories. It really felt like a team effort including all the supporters. I think the hours queuing for Wembley tickets were part of the desire to be in it together and were well worth it. Very happy days !
Fantastic memories. Thanks Brownie and the boys. I just hope it can soon be repeated. UTT

Magic, remember it like it was yesterday
Proper pros. Proper players!
I’ll never forget our first promotion. £1M spent on Caleb Folan!
City til I die! UTT🐯
Proper players who know what it means with passion. Don’t get that now. These players now just don’t have it
Hulk City is a Turkish Club acun Ilıcalı his President
You wouldn't like them when they're angry.
Bit of a daft time to premiere, world cup game is on
It's on in a nation where human rights and those of workers from overseas have been trashed. I've not watched the World Cup. Hull folk will realise how strongly I feel about this when stating that I have more in common with Leeds United supporters than the Qatar government!
@@davemills6881 You're not wrong but what i find odd is that the UAE and Bahrain get zero flack and they hold far more international sporting events every year, especially former (Dubai and Abu Dhabi). They build their cities and buildings the same way. Qatar seems to have gotten far more flack than even China who's literally wiping out ethnic groups through mass-internment and cultural/demographic genøcide.
@@davemills6881 it says a lot about fifa when you see the last two world cups at qatar and Russia. Maybe they will go to Iran or North Korea next.
