Transit Cargo light -SOLVED

Those of us that have transits and sprinters and promaster's that want the doors open for ventilation, often have the dilemma of having a cargo light remain on while they're open. Eventually the timer will time it out and it'll go off.....hopefully.
Anyway, my wife was bugged by the fact that ours would not go off for the longest time and she was afraid it was going to kill the battery. Therefore, I went to UA-cam and looked around but I did not find a solution as simple as the one I've just described here. I hope this helps you all.

Hi! I saw the previous videos, you mentioned. I was sure about the possibility of getting out the lamp only, but i didn't want to break anything. So your solution was the best on the internet (Thanks a lot!). Until now! Because as i got the lamp out, i have fogured out a less risky way. Maybe the way, how ingineers invented it... I plan to make a video of it..

What about the parking and running lights which do not seems to turn off?

When that happens, I have had to turn on the ignition and then shut off again and use the fob to lock the doors.

Greetings. Actually, it's very simple. Just squeeze it and it pops right off.

How do you remove the bulb of the cargo lamp

When you pry the lens down from the ceiling, you will have access to the bulb.

What bulb does cargo light take

Frankly, I don't know. I'd have to take it apart and look. It should be online or in your manual. It's likely just a standard mini cargo light bulb.

Why the lens? Is yours broken? The whole assembly drops right down with a little effort. Good luck.
