Been an avid listener of the Villain series since 2021, and holy shit. This audio made me so sentimental. Cheeky's character development was so awesome to see, her self-worth and understanding while coping with unspoken feelings is a genuinely lovely witness. She was patient with V while he was struggling to talk about his own feelings, being honest with him as well. Honestly, go Cheeky! Gal has a backbone and I love to see it!!! As for V, his resistance and contradiction to the voices + the subtle corruption were heartbreaking to see. He has sacrificed himself time and time again, to protect the world and his family. Even if his family is gone, even if the Atrocity is defeated, we all know he won't stop until he gains the higher power there is to kill off the biggest threat as of right now. Unfortunately, he will do it even if it kills him. V and Cheeky's dynamic was kind of nostalgic to see, especially with the plentiful references from Villain 2.5 and Shadow Break Saga Pt.1. They were sappy and goofy, with mutual understanding and respect in this audio, and I love that for them both. Side note: I hope we get to explore the grief and sorrow of this series. But it's possibly not going to happen since there are a lot of bigger issues right now; with the mystics and cooperation being at war and the cliffhanger at the end of this audio leading to bigger things. But, we'll see. TL;DR: Brillant audio with an awesome dynamic and individually growing character arcs! Thank you Scythe, this audio will definitely be on repeat for me!! 🖤💛

Wilder is turning into my favorite supporting character in Scythe Audios. Him getting mad at 5:18 when he got "tricked" into doing a fourth wall break was so funny omg.
That 4th wall break, though! Ha! Oh damn, V's looking good! I love this, I'm so happy to see Cheeky having growth, and seeing V again. Absolutely fantastic, Scythe! Stay awesome!
I think another reason why the fight for the cargo ended so quickly is because V lost on purpose. When cheeky said that she would die trying to win the cargo, this scared him because he has seen cheeky died before during the reddening. V in the past has threatened to kill cheeky but he never goes through with it so the one time he does see cheeky actually die when JJ ripped out her heart, this scar him and V couldn't bear the thought of seeing cheeky dead again. Please correct me if I'm wrong 😊

Wonder if the history is going to repeat itself, like the light and dark magic user from the beginning. Will V spiral down the dark path or will Cheeky be able to manage to get a hold on him? I'm excited to find out, whatever the outcome may be. Ps. V and Cheeky interaction is so nice in this. Ps2. New art of V looks so freaking GREAT!

He also knows that by all accounts, Cheeky could and maybe even should hate him for putting her through the wringer, so he's not exactly in any state of mind to consider that the missus would think of him as family.. duuuuh
