Quick, to the point, yet fairly comprehensive :) Sadly, Sako has discontinued the Black Wolf, as most people were buying the highly similar (but more expensive) Carbon Wolf. The Carbon Wolf's composite stock cut almost 2 pounds of weight compared the the Black Wolf's laminate walnut; eveything else is pretty much the same between the two.
Really enjoy your videos Is this rifle the same as The Carbon Wolf. Seems like the piece to have for bragging rights and to be different. I'm starting to look for one to touch and hold here in USA. Thanks
The Sako 85 has an ejection issue where the spent case bounces off your scope and can fall back into the loading area. Sako's solution to the problem is to tell everyone there is no problem.
Thank you for an honest review pointing out the things they need to improve. So many reviews don’t do this and are just adverts for Sako!
Not so much improve, just things that wouldn’t suit me and many others! The gun is pretty great!
Pretty cool so long as you don't mind ejecting brass straight up into the scope, causing it to bounce back in and jam the action. Genius!

Not sure how you get this. As Mine has never done this.
I have heard the complaints, I have the 85 300 win mag. yes the brass hits the scope but mine always ejects
I have read in a number of sources that that was true of earlier models but has been corrected in the 85 series.
Nice looking rifle. I'm guessing the stock isn't good for lefties?
not really, but good news is that they made Sako 85 Hunters with left hand bolt
Wait. How do you get the trigger under 2lbs? You mentioned you can get lower?
Can the sling stud be removed easily?
Oh lummy!
Great rifle, unfortunately the stock lets itself down for me, perfect rifle for bench rest not stalking imho
Bin that sloppy action off & spend a little more & get a blaser 👌
