@@SachaBernasconi that's incorrect. Every studies teach us something, even if it may not answer the critical questions. And every teaching will help human kind forever. Literally drugs and procedures that are developed through the sacrifices of animals can be used to help humans until the earth literally dies away. For example, a hiv vaccine developing in my school has used a couple of hundred monkeys, and the results have taught me so much and given us the confidence to move it into human clinical trial in the next year. In 2018, there was around 2 million NEW cases of hiv infection around the world. A HIV vaccine can help to save the lives of ~2 million people PER YEAR. And this can be apply to other major health issues like flu vaccines or treatments to cancer and genetic illnesses (where people didn't choose to be sick). Animal testing is vital, but animals like monkeys for example are so similar to humans and they need stimulation, more space and some way to keep them entertained.
"participating"? "participant" ? really? language really can and will be coerced (sorry, participate) to say anything, to justify anything. what an honour it is to be human.

Michael Cheng They should to the worst prisoners around the world. There are some serious scum around the world that law should allow medical experiments
This is for the better good of mankind anyone who objects stop taking all medicines and never go to the hospital because this is what they are trying to help us
My wife and I have done paid clinical trials now for over 9 years. She is in one now in Cincinnati, Ohio paying over $9,000 for 20 days in house in the facility. They feed and house you during the duration of the trial and pay you for your time and participation. The most we've made at one time together was $14,000 for a 45 day straight stay in Austin, Texas. We left out with over $28,000. It was like hitting the lottery. We only go for the high paying clinical trials and primarily only do Phase 2 studies that have the potential side effects posted. They are a good way to earn money full time without the need of hourly employment that pays pennies compared to these.
These human drug trials are dangerous especially if like those men are having many drugs tested on them doing all those trials I'm sure will have lasting health effects on them. The money isn't worth it. Health is SO important!
I find the anim testing so cruel and wrong, you can tell that monkey is not happy. A life in a research cage sucks... if rather the humans do everything, at least they those to do it and get paid for it. The animals have no choice and get nothing for it.
I think this is.a joke as a facility to have lab animals. I know the reputation of the institute, if this is the standard to have such lab animals across the world renowned institutes then everyone is collectively doing a mistake to keep the animals away from their normal habitat. This is dumb.
Dude all these professional lab rats seem like they got something wrong with them mentally. The question is, is it because of a life of being a lab rat or do they go into it because they have something wrong with them?? 🤔
theTAILlor The rat will definitely die. Actually rats do not grow their tails back. Once the skin is removed from a rat it dries off and the tail falls off. If the affected part is really tiny then there won’t be an issue. If they took the whole tail’s skin as they did here then the rat will actually die afterwards. If I word it this way it does not sound as ethical after all, does it? Plus animals don’t actually have a way of consenting to these experiments. They should shut down all animal testing programs and start testing them on humans from the beginning. There are so many prisoner scum bags out there that are after all taken care of with your your own tax money. At least this way they will do humanity some good and not be such a waste of space and tax payer’s money.

How many animals would you kill to save 1 single human? One? Ten? Hundreds? Thousands? Would you chose to kill all living animals to save one human?
And all of these lessons / treatments would stay with us for decades and decades and decades, saving the lives of billions if not trillions of human being.
@@kjjlskdjfljf that is incorrect and you are clearly not aware of the bigger picture of how many animals get tortured and killed for inconclusive studies. Also isn't it ironic you talk about HIV that as plenty of other diseases resulted from messing with animals in the first place?
"We don't have any sheep right now."😂 "I had competency issues."😂 "I am working. I get to see the results of the scientific trial." Felt him on that one. Thank you to all the human trial participants!
It's a thankless job most of the time.
These individuals seems to be missing a few brain cells 🤦🏾♂️
Hard to tell if that’s because of the drugs they’ve taken OR a condition they already had that led them to be lab rats.
@@h.a.7605a bit of both I’d imagine
*Funniest line at (**6:24**) “Do you feel that doing all these drugs for so many years has affected you physically or mentally? I compare it to my college days when you go to a party and somebody hands you some pills.” WTF! LMAO. I don’t know what’s funniest about that...somebody randomly handing you some pills at a college party or you accepts those pills not knowing what exactly they are and taking the pill giver’s words for granted. I was in college for 7 years and nobody ever happened me some pills.*
Then you didn’t actually experience college
Nope I didn’t because I was an engineering student. No sex all studying.
Reading the comments and the lack of humanity for these animals makes me sick
Ratas make me sick
your mommais rats are wonderful, intelligent empathetic little creatures.
Lets watch selfie man together
Poor animals
Absolutely infuriating. Test willing humans or not at all.
Would you test and or drive a car that hasn't been tested on crash test dummies? Or approved by the NHTSA? That doesn't mean it's foolproof but I wouldn't test drugs unless there was some pretesting.
Those people who work in these labs. Damn them. They are cruel
It is cruel but it’s to move further in medical stuff
One thing I didn't like is when the dr said that's the right answer. That means they will use these people. And expect to get the results they desire. And if the lab rats want more work I bet they better have a good record of being co operative.
What a life those animals have.
Animal testing is vital, but animals like monkeys for example are so similar to humans and they need stimulation, more space and some way to keep them entertained.
I don't think the rabbits wants to "participate" in these things. But nice word play and background music Vice. Deceptive media
And we just take a small piece of the mouse's tail.... 😵😵😵
"participating"? "participant" ? really? language really can and will be coerced (sorry, participate) to say anything, to justify anything. what an honour it is to be human.
Poor animals, and not to mention monkeys are pretty sophisticated beings and they commonly starve them as ways to get them to perform the tasks. Sick sick stuff😓
Imagine we didn't test these on them and we went straight to human testing
@Child of Light Forever yes only for non lethal and only the drugs that r already tested before on animals..
Michael Cheng They should to the worst prisoners around the world. There are some serious scum around the world that law should allow medical experiments
Kurt Lessnar completely agree
A society should be judged not by how it treats its outstanding citizens but by how it treats its criminals. - Dostoyevsky
This is for the better good of mankind anyone who objects stop taking all medicines and never go to the hospital because this is what they are trying to help us
Dude made that rabbit flip out 1:04
That is no life for any animal. It’s torture.

Host : You are not the 10 hour viagara erection guy
Laughter study lab rat : HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This brings me 1 step closer to believing Alex Jones on Genetically modified human hybrids.
Even the human volunteers are vulnerable. Mentally, there’s something off.
That website dude look like he been through the ringer.. i wonder if the drugs made his eye droop like that lol smh
Nope. It was a birth defect. I came out sideways and she was like, that was some bad Chinese food!
These human drug trials are dangerous especially if like those men are having many drugs tested on them doing all those trials I'm sure will have lasting health effects on them. The money isn't worth it. Health is SO important!
Like oxyconten !
Omg there are people who have probably done hundreds of trials over decades and they are fine
Shhhhhh.. Don't tell PETA about this.
HeySup nice face
I want to see the human version of this
It can be rewarding
It was the case in Bergen-Belson, and Auschwitz. Probably is happening in parts of China also.
Fr tho
9:20 what they really want you to say...
I find the anim testing so cruel and wrong, you can tell that monkey is not happy. A life in a research cage sucks... if rather the humans do everything, at least they those to do it and get paid for it. The animals have no choice and get nothing for it.
Couldn’t put me in a hospital for two weeks for less than 5 figures
cmonster6 Some of us stay in a hospital for weeks at a time and have to pay for it 🙃
Michael Taylor im a stroke survivor I know what you mean
What if you get coronavirus?
I think this is.a joke as a facility to have lab animals. I know the reputation of the institute, if this is the standard to have such lab animals across the world renowned institutes then everyone is collectively doing a mistake to keep the animals away from their normal habitat. This is dumb.
Vice reporter : Would you sell me Aaa....
Scientist : NO😂😂
It's a bunch of people at PETA watching this right now having massive anxiety attacks..
That quick “NO”😂😂 2min18sec
My respect for the human lab rats they’re truly putting their lives at risk for us!
My eyes looked the same one night after Poppin about 0.6 of mdma
Dude all these professional lab rats seem like they got something wrong with them mentally. The question is, is it because of a life of being a lab rat or do they go into it because they have something wrong with them?? 🤔
Maybe we just found something that works for us. Not everyone wants to work a 9 to 5 job for 40 years and retire with a cheap gold watch!
Small piece?? Took the whole goddamn tail off
They grow back. Geesh
theTAILlor
The rat will definitely die.
Let's do the testing on Criminals instead of these poor Animals.
Yea because there is no way that could possibly end badly... you must *NOT* be from the US? Our corporate ran legal system is super corrupt.
I've always thought the same thing especially the people on death row. They aren't going anywhere other than rotting in a cell for 30+ years
Criminals have more rights than you and I. Cheaper to pay volunteers
Just realized with my full time job in 30 days I don't even make $4,000. I'm in the wrong field! This makes me so sad and depressed but as a single parent can't say I haven't considered it with that kind of money! It's like the lowest hierarchy of people get taken advantage by corporations and the animals just look so sad.
I know a few couples who do studies. One does one while the other watches the kiddos. It's not like you're always at the clinic. Some people just do one or two a year.
This dude sounds just like the doctor from family guy
@8:02 when you realize that’s not a tattoo on his arm.
Humans are so terrible. This is insane. We're so disconnected from animals.
If it were the other way around, trust me, the animals would be testing on humans and some animals would be like, oh no, don't treat humans that way!
But it’s not the other way around. So it’s pointless to talk about the possibilities of “if”.
It's kill or be killed!
@@theTAILlor The animals in this video do not have the power to kill us and we as modern humans have mostly created living spaces where we can be virtually untouchable by any animals that would.
You're not thinking fourth dimensionally
The pandemic has brought good attention to the need of human volunteers. You probably know someone who participated in a vaccine trial. It's just a small part of the vast process it takes to bring new medicines and vaccines to benefit mankind.
