Celery is very easy vegetable to grow but starting celery seedlings is a bit time-consuming and challenging. Since fresh celery is so fragrant and delicious, it truly worth the time and work we put into.
The best temperature for celery seed to germinate is 59~68 F. Temperature too low will slow down germination, too high will inhibit germination.
In 1~2 week, celery will emerge. At the beginning the seedlings grow very slowly. It usually takes more than one and half months from sowing to growing 3~4 leaves. Please be patient and make sure water well and supplement some dissolvable fertilizer.

I appreciate your method of putting seed in a paper towel before soaking. I've never thought of that before!

Hi Cindy, Usually variety, climate temperature too high, not water enough may cause hollow stem.

MsRESPECT90 his price is good, his videos, too long and full of fluff and silliness. This video is informative, easy to understand with good examples and straightforward narrative. No waste of time.🐸
