Hey man ! I want to learn to play mage(Frost and Fire) in PvP and I am wondering if it is easier to learn and be good at PvP as a mage in Retail OR in Cataclysm. I mean where is the PvP ceiling higher. I mainly play 2v2 arenas (not 3v3) and battlegrounds
@@TheEmptyInbox Learn it on classic first since it has higher skillcap, then carry over to retail where skillcap is little to none atm. Smoother transition. Edit: Anyone who tries to deny Cata having way higher skillcap than free-glad-mode-if-you-just-play-meta-on-retail, you're coping & your weeweepp is smol. I don't make the rules. It's just canon. Venruki has said it himself and MANY other familiar glads out there, Cata-MoP's pvp had the highest skillcap in WoW history. Some may say wotlk but nah, just nah. So. I'm right. Sorry.
@@plague6174I thought it’s the opposite lol. I think it’s easier for me since the game in Cata expansion is a bit slower, less classes etc.I am mostly interested in fire mage too. Is fire easier to learn compared to frost in cataclysm ?
@@Gatar47858 fire has less CC and less Defensive (due to Iceblock being resetable from Frost only talent) , Frost is more forgiving IMO , give Frost a try first reforge everything into mastery(Frost-Mastery, Fire-Crit), it worked back then for me.
It’s funny how pros always cry about things but they are the reason why there’s so many addons becuse they always look for the advantage tbh I just feel like gladius is the only necessary add on

You had mage armor on during hex at 11:39. Mage armor should reduce magic effects by 35% so why did you get the full hex?
Hex is a curse, not a magic effect
