Yeah, I don't understand either. Like some people are genuinely spiteful towards this game and the devs that created this game. They would even insult the people that actually like the game. I never seen a game get this much hate before and it's nuts especially when this game is no where near as bad, Objectively speaking. It's just an average game with fun gameplay mechanics. The sheeps hating on this game i've always found very odd. Spider Man one of my favorite games of all time is praised as being the second coming of christ yet everyone who reviewed Spider Man never criticize how incredibly awkward a lot of the dialaouge is with new york citizens. Most of them act like robots, yet you never hear the same of levels of complaints. Even FF15 got roasted by some but didn't get crucified on the same level as Forspoken & Final Fantasy 15 has a lot of legendary cringe, even though i still like the game overall. Unfortunately there's another issue "ADULTS" lol. Adults take the fun out of everything and many people are victims of political warfare, so there was a lot of jokes about her being a beautiful chocolate lady so that means it's automatically "woke" and the haters calling it "woke" before it even came out. When it's really that Anti social Justice warriors are just as sensitive as Hyper SJW'S. Frey can be cringe at times but that is HER character & we find out EXACTLY why she is the way she is & it's deep. Are we going to pretend that Dante from DMC doesn't have cringe moments? I love Dante but he can also be a cringe legend, even Cloud has cringe moments but we love him. Yet again you don't hear the same outrage. Unfortunately adults allow politics to intervene in everything they do & it actually brainwashes them into illogical thinking because of their biasness. Does this game have flaws? absolutely, every game does but those flaws aren't bad enough for hiveminds to act like it's the worst game or even one of the worst games of all time. I think the movement in this game is 10/10, they literally nailed it but as I said this I can say everything else feels meh to pretty bad. Story is really bland, characters are not likable, dialogue is really bad. The graphics do feel good sometimes but pretty bad in others. I paid full price for this game and was not happy with my purchase once I finished the game. I have to ay in my own opinion Square Enix has great character designers so for them just to face scan people and use them is a huge setback. Also, SE has a pretty good writers working for them so why did they hire like 4 western writers to make a bland story??? makes no sense to me. At the end of the day this game did not sell and SE lost like 100 million on this game adding to the failures like Marvels Avengers and Babylon's Fall.

I also greatly enjoyed Forspoken. As for the hate being directed at this game, it's definitely artificial and extremely excessive. I've noticed that Square Enix (who has been giving Sony many Playstation exclusives) seems to be getting smashed hard in general in a very artificial and excessive way. Now the UA-cam hate mob is already trying to attack Final Fantasy 16 and that game doesn't even come out till June 22nd (even though there are a lot of Final Fantasy fans who are pushing back hard against the mob, so that game might be able to pull out of the UA-cam hate mob's grip... who like to regurgitate the same type of hatred, video after video after video... definitely doesn't help that the UA-cam algorithm rewards people who make hate filled videos).

i know this maybe a little weird, after finished Forspoken and wrote a review for it. I rated it 7 because it had potential but lackluster in many activities & almost none memorable characters (Frey & the cub are alright), the shining part is the combat and beautiful worlds. I had a lot of enjoyable with it. Then the publisher afraid the readers would bash my review for rating it 7/10. They automatically change my rating and gave it a 5/10. Since then, I never review any AAA games again even the publisher ask me to, I just simple refuse & only review indies because I know gamers on that website only care about what they want to rate for the AAA games they love or hate, & ignore all the indie games in general.
I wonder that too. Especially since I have decided to buy this one after spending time with it because I love the gameplay but Hogwarts I got half way through and the whole game felt tired and pointless to slog through for me so I sent it back!

I played it on normal. I tend to play most games on normal unless there’s trophies locked behind difficulty. I could see both your experience both being enhanced and enemies being huge bullet sponges in higher difficulties because a lot of enemies are bullet sponges in normal mode, especially if they’re immune to certain abilities. You’d just have to pick and choose your fight carefully, especially in the early game.
I thought the setup was terrible. Being transporter to another world, and hearing the protagonists be surprised about everything and asking a ton of questions was something that I did not want to sit through at all. You’re telling me that it’s an actual genre in Japan….how can they like such a lame thing enough to make a genre…? Anyway. After watching your review I know now that I won’t like this game too much. Maybe I’ll pick it up on a sale later on.

I love Forspoken! It's absolute BLAST to play even if it makes my PC want to die (Core i5-6500 can BARELY comprehend it lmao). I cannot talk about it though, because everyone has been listening to their either a gaming journo or UA-cam Personality #8413 and just constantly parrots the same talking points over and over again. There's so much nonsense and toxic gamer culture that sometimes I feel bad for just legitimately enjoying Forspoken. Do I have my criticisms of it? Absolutely, but it isn't a bad game, it's a good one with weak points. Also now everybody is saying that Forspoken is what killed Luminous Productions when, one, they're just being re-absorbed, and, two, there's absolutely NO logical correlation between Forspoken minorly underperforming and LP being dissolved.

I am currently thinking getting the PS5 / Forspoken bundle and I am happy to get an honest review like this. Sadly there will always be things like the basic Open World filler Quests but it is what it is. All in all a great review thanks for that :D

by the time they fix the game and release the dlc the game will end up being another days gone, it's a 7/10 but the good parts are great
