I graduated in 2005. Old alumni student here! SO sad to see all the canteens have been closed. And none of the canteens were air conditioned last time lol. I used to frequent Canteen 3 as I was studying ICT and the Western food was the most popular especially the butter rice with chicken cutlet! Also, the malay stall that sells nasi padang has very yummy dishes. Not to forget the teriyaki chicken sandwich at Splash & Decker Atrium. Although they reappeared at Four leaves iON but it has now been replaced by Lavender bakery...
Omg the sandwich is the GOAT!!!! I ate it almost everyday good times hahaha but yah they also not at ion anymore already 🥲 - Ben

Munch used to have Pepper Lunch. super popular but it closed down around 2015/16.
Quite disappointing to hear poolside canteen closed down too. Poolside canteen western food was popular too.
Rachel is really a breath of fresh air 😊 like to see her more involved in the videos.

NP has REALLY changed since I graduated in 1997... 26 years ago! My favourite stall used to be in what was known as Canteen 2. It sold kway chap and pork innards soup. Back then, the dish would have the blood cubes and yam rice. Delish!

I also from NYP one but graduated on 2016 alr. Haha. I went back to NYP 1-2 years ago, and south canteen waffle are still as good~ love their butter waffles. ❤ Pls do NYP next!

i moved to the states abt 2 yrs ago and i’m watching this and literally crying the prices. Here for $3 u can get a bottle of water 😢 (i used to go to nyp so i wld love to see a video on their food)

Canteen 1 (business) really has lotsa nice food, used to have pushcart stalls selling tutu kueh, cup corn, muahchee. The western stall at centeen 1 also rocks. Other memorable food includes sandwich shop at the atrium where the double cheese sandwich is really nice, western food at canteen 3 (engineering) and there’s a mysterious canteen 4 last time, where there’s only 2 stalls selling food… located at a deep quiet end of the school 🎉
Anyone remember the canteen 4 Japanese food from early 2000s? With multiple stove tops and food prepared on order. Is he still around or anyone know where did he shift to?
Agree the south canteen at NYP, I'm a student there before. Free flow Miso Soup. Famous for being one the cheapest among all polytechnic
International school series is also good. Get to know overseas people

Tp engineering got the best scrambled egg with their breakfast set and spicy nuggets.
Rp food is good, try the bingsu, tawian food, trcc earl grey milk tea, ayam peyant and fish & chips
wtf Ben is 34? always thought he mid 20s. no wonder he never been to makan place (grad of 2013 here) I still rmb last time there is one yong Tau foo there quite nice one. btw yr this school series similar to eat book, they also gng to diff schools to look for nice food

Yes, no one gives a damn cause they won't know if you are a full time staff, contractor or cleaner.

Nyp alumni here !! If you guys going nyp, yall gotta try South’s chicken rice & dry ban mian, food connect’s Lok Lok & mala. Koufu’s Thai store during my time got this tomyam fried rice portion damn big and damn nice also (but idk still have or not🥲)
agree with the south canteen's chicken rice & dry banmian!!! my fav 2 comfort food during lunch or long breaktimes in between classes 🥹 the dry handmade noodles is damn shiok when pair with the hot soup with egg
