Sadly (I suppose), I actually remember watching this episode in front of our television in Seattle in 1955.

This was before my time, but I always imagine families gathered around the tv set to watch every week. Back when there were three channels. I remember when I, the youngest, was the remote control. I sat on the floor and changed the channels.

1:35- At the time, "WRCA-TV" was the call letters of NBC's New York affiliate (through May 1960)- and NBC carried Loretta's program on Sundays at 10pm(et).

Chuck Connors was incredibly smart as well as athletic and handsome. As a panelist on What's My Line? he impressed with keen articulate language and powers of deduction.

He looks like a giant when standing next to Loretta Young.

Looks like Roy Roberts, who had a long career in the early days of television. He was on the old "My Little Margie" with Gale Storm, on the "Beverly Hillbillies" as Mister Drysdale's chief rival, as Darren Stevens' father on "Bewitched" and as the gruffy bank president on "The Lucy Show."

    Mr. Longacre:
    "You seem to know a
    lot about women.."
    NewsGuy:
" Well it was my Major
    in college...
    AND, I've done a little
    research since..."
