Sheldon gets a volunteer position as a docent (or a guide) for a railway museum. While George is driving Missy to one of her baseball games, Missy uses a restroom and has her first period, and George freaks out. Meanwhile, Georgie walks in on Mary watching Road House, a violent movie about a bouncer named Dalton, which she pretends she turned on by accident. They both admit they've seen the movie several times, even though it's rated R. George is embarrassed to buy sanitary products for Missy, but is helped by a woman clerk. Sheldon is removed from his position as docent after continually correcting the man who selected him. Connie tries to teach Sheldon that people can get tired of hearing a barrage of facts by telling him about knitting; Sheldon continues being interested after Connie becomes tired of it. At Missy's baseball game, she strikes out a player.

@@sarah10-d74z That's what I did my first time, my mother found at 6 months later after it had leaked onto my pants at a sleepover lmao. Lucky she had already told me what to do if it happened plus I paid attention in sex ed and how you can use tp in emergencies.

Git admit mine didn't do that but has zero issues going and buying. My mum had really bad and he'd panic from her pain and even rung Dr's a few times (the fact she managed to get pregnant was me was a miracle) but he had zero issues going and buying forever or me when I needed. I heard him talking with my son he'd been doing all about reproduction at school and he was telling him how ifnhe gets a gf and she needs and can't and nobody else there is nothing to be embarrassed about it will just make her lovexhim more. Its 1 of sweetest things I'd over heard with them my sons dad isn't in the picture so my dad stepped up to help with things I've no clue on
My dad bought me my first feminine products because my mom refused to. They divorced when I was young, and instead of mom buying them for me, she called my dad to tell him he needed to pick me up and that I had “become a woman” (cringe). I couldn’t look my dad in the eyes the whole way to the store. He was unfazed though, and he bought them for me. I still just wanted my mom though, as it’s a scary experience even when you know what’s happening.

I once met with a friend group and when I arrived the other boys hadn’t arrived yet. So the girls were speaking about „it“ and I was asked if it was too embarrassing for me to listen to. I was very naive at that time and thought it can’t be that bad, I will just listen maybe there are some fun stories. Needless to say it was highly embarrassing for me and way too detailed. I was very happy when we switched the topic.

I was on vacation (roughly a 15 hour drive back home) with my dad and my little sister the first time! I spent 2 days using toilet paper because I was too embarrassed to tell my dad, and my sister was blissfully unaware of periods. She kept asking me why I didn’t want to swim. :( Thankfully I didn’t get menstrual cramps til a few years later.
I was very happy to get home to say the least and my mom knew immediately haha!

I'm seriously so glad that my fiancee has had so much experience with helping women who are on their periods. Hopefully if he's the one with our future daughter when her first period starts, he'll know exactly what to do. I've had to send him out for me a couple of times when I've had cramps where I couldn't move. When I had realized that I needed things bc I was suddenly out, he was the one that offered to go to the store for me. He's a gem. You don't always find men like that. Ladies, get you a man that isn't afraid of your period and just wants to help however he can.

I got my period a month ago here’s a story.
I woke up and I realized I was dripping period blood.
I didn’t want to tell my mom I got my period because there
was a high chance she would tell people. But I wasn’t even prepared-
I had no p@ds, no t@mp0ns. When I went downstairs I had a huge mood
swing, so I had to tell my dad. My dad is good at keeping promises so he
didn’t tell my mom until like a few days ago💀. Anyway we went to the store
and exactly like missy I made my dad go in without me. Since I wasn’t there
idk what happened but my dad got so much stuff I felt weird. I arrived at school
at 10AM and I have a huge mood swing, I swore alot, I sometimes took out my
anger on my classmates. I didn’t talk to anyone, all I did was sit on a bench thinking
about watching tt. A teacher came over and I said “go away” in that mood swing
voice and she sent me to the office. But I refused cause I was so annoyed. a few minutes later my friend
came over and she was my bestie. She’s Baptist like in young Sheldon so she can’t lie, so I told her why I was so angry
and she promised to keep it a secret. During class I was thinking about violent stuff and creepy for no reason💀 my thoughts

Welcome to oestrogen. You just need to learn how to tame your emotions because you will be real moody at least once every month for the rest of your life until you hit menopause. No need to lash out at everyone just because of a normal biological function. Try to control it rather than let it control you, and you'll feel much better, maybe listen to soothing and uplifting music, take walks, meditate, write, etc. Such activities have worked for me for more than 25 years now of periods.
