I always feel that Kyungsoo's personality doesn't actually fit as an idol, meaning he's different from a typical idol, but at the same time perfect to survive as an idol. It might be confusing so I'll explain a little. Idols are usually very self-aware of their actions and appearances (e.g Baekhyun, Sehun, Chanyeol), so they read comments a lot and try to communicate with their fans as much as they can. It sure is a good way to gain a lot of fans, but at the same time it can be exhausting to always be aware of everything and try to be cheerful all the time. Kyungsoo, on the other hand, is probably the worst at doing fanservice lol, but he knows exactly what he wanna do, doesn't give a fuck about other people's opinion and just let the projects speak for themselves. There are people who will like it, hate it, or even be indifferent to it, and I feel like he felt that it's okay (song reference) as long as he's satisfied with the project. It is a mind of a pure artist. His visual is just a bonus. Thus, as I said before, his personality is perfect for an idol because even with huge pressure, he would just close his ear and listen to his heart. He's resilient and that's the key of sustaining a long career in this field.
You are so right. I mean, even his roles as an actor is wisely choosen. He doesn't do things that he doesn't want to do, and I admire him for that. I think people are constantly afraid to follow their hearts because when you do this, you are taking the risk. That's why I admire him the most.

When he was rookie , he used to do a lots of aegyo and he was really cute. He used to interact with fans a lot too. His sudden change in personality was because of sasaeng. He was scared thats why he became less talkactive and was careful of his actions.

He's the realest idol IMO. What I like about him is that he doesn't try to please everyone, he just doing his best and that's it. He doesn't seem to care about what people think of him which I can totally relate to that. Staying away from social media is probably the best decision for him.

I soo love you for this. I miss our penguin soo much. I love his awkwardness its really adorable. He's just being himself. I'm always amazed whenever I watch fancams of him reacting to a performance coz we know how he is. He doesnt know to fake a reaction thats what I've always noticed.
