Excellent video! I absolutely love seeing how the Dutch implement bicycle infrastructure. Your videos are very eye opening, and interesting to an American audience where all streets are treated as 'one size fits all' and there is little variety in how they are constructed. Thank you for posting, you're right up there with Dutch bicycle infrastructure sharers David Hembrow and Mark Wagenbuur.
This was really interesting to watch. I remember riding this path over 5 years back. Looks so different without all the snow and ice. Near the end looked like a section close to Oss, but not sure. Cool vid coverage; especially over an hours worth!
@killerrockssm: Thanks for the compliment. Note that not all the paths I've been cycling on were dedicated cycle paths. But in most cases with more heavy traffic there is either a physical separation of cars and bikes or at least an indication of the dual usage with a line on the road. The dual usage line tends to reduce space for cars which will drive a little bit slower, and indicates to the cyclist where the 'safe' vs 'danger zone' is. :-)
@lekkerding469 Thanks! All this footage is from the wide surroundings of Zeist / Bunnik / Utrecht and De Bilt. Nothing from Oss, which is a little bit too far from home and thus out of range. Unless I go bike-hiking/camping. I have more video of Utrecht that you will recognize perhaps. Some of my videos are close to 2hrs (which is about the max that fits on my 32Gb SD card). Unfortunately, UA-cam messed up the 720p video for these long vids and only 480p is available. Greetings, OnetNL.
