Sometimes I do show a little bit of a floor colour underneath, but when I want to accomplish my floorplan really quickly -- I just use diagonal lines to show that it's glass texture. Good question, thank you!
Johan, I use primarily Copics, Touch, and Stylefile markers. Here are the sets from my blog that I prefer: schoolofsketching.com/blog-in-english/markersets Sure, colour pencils work as well! What I find with markers -- they allow me to work faster and look more brilliant on paper.
hm, i dont get it, so the light comes from the left, but everywhere in the house? What about those windows on the left? shouldt the shadow change direction?
Hi Katalin, I see your point, the thing is, here I used the classical approach in architecture to lighting: light is coming from the left at a 45-degree angle. I don't attach to windows much in my floorplans, it always can be a night scenario so no daylight is coming through the window. In my interior perspective sketches I do take into consideration windows though. Anyway, thanks for your comment,.
Thank you, Matilda! I usually get them on Amazon, here are the sets from my blog that I prefer: schoolofsketching.com/blog-in-english/markersets Hope that helps 🙂

Lights and shadows are totally wrong based on where you have the windows...
