What causes an apex locator to jump around up and down when trying to take a measurement? can the file be too thin for the canal? or is it the canal is not wet enough. I have an apex locator from Parkell and it is very frustrating when that happens. I certainly appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.
U can clearly see the straightening of the first curvature of canal after using f1 which is totally a disadvantage and may lead to iatrogenic errors in tooth.
It really depends on the form of flutes. May you use once in a molar canal and you can not use it anymore. You'd better see with your eyes if there is any change in the shape of file or flutes.
