We are from Michigan but spend our winters in Oak Alley RV resort in Webster. Great town in the middle of nowhere. I ride my motorcycle from the rv park with great rides in all directions. Very nice bicycle trails nearby. Last year I accidentally drop my wallet in the Dollar General parking lot and it was returned to me intact . If you need anything from the big city it’s a half hour away in any direction. Great area!
Can totally relate about the timing issues. I graduated university right when the global financial crisis hit. I got engaged just as covid hit, now we tried to buy property and signed off on a new development, the building industry here in Australia is in crisis plus interest rates at sky high levels. Things will look up for all of us soon, stay positive guys 👏🙏

I grew up in Webster, Fl. I knew back then (circa 60s) that is was in the best place in the world in which to grow up.
I have been working in Webster for the last 3 weeks and love it! Genuine Old Florida beautiful!! Floral City is sweet also.
