I live in Eagan. The Squall Line was right on way my home from work. Not even 3 minutes from when I walked in the door, my phone Wireless alert went off along with the sirens outside.
I was returning back to the TC from faribault from an event and it started raining heavily and i was south of Burnsville when a Tornado Warning was issued and i stayed under an overpass since everyone else was too
I had this activate my weather radios. NEVER AFFECTED ME. The weather radios got activated because apparently WXK41 here in Rochester activates for alerts issued by the Twin Cities.
Forgot to note stations:
KJY80 Red Wing MN
WXK41 Rochester, MN
KEC65 Minneapolis-St Paul, MN
WXJ88 Menomonie-Eau Claire, WI
