Aww, I remember my girls reading The American Girl books🥰 It led to us down so many rabbit trails. That Tearoom book sounds great. Glad you had a wonderful reading month! 📚♥️
Aww, Yay! The AG books are so special. I adored the Tearoom book and plan to read the next one as soon as possible! My TBR is sooo long already for this month! 😅😅
I haven’t seen the movie! Hope to fix that soon. It wasn’t my favorite but did enjoy how I had no idea how it was all going to be resolved. Austen did the opposite of what I thought she would do and I love that.
I went through a phase as a teenager and was like i'm gonna get rid of all my kids stuff so I used to own the felicity box set but my dummy younger self got rid of it 🤦♀️ I'm very disappointed in my younger self lol
I heard a review of Isadora Bentley. She said there was yoga mentioned in the book. I assume in a positive light. Yoga is worship of a Hindu god. Every one of those positions mean something in worship to the false god. Christian authors need to understand this.
It does show main character being invited to yoga classes with her neighbor. We get to know the MC more and her new friend as they meet super early to walk to the gym. I don’t recall any time spent in the yoga class, except meeting new friends and talking with other women. No emphasis on yoga itself. It was a big deal for the main character to exercise, and most importantly, to join a “class” of strangers as a former anti-social person and recluse. Valid point about it being in a Christian fiction book though.
Loved reading Felicity with you!

@@thewritingsongbird5108 Yay. I love how, for most of it, the reader is completely in the dark about what is going on. 😄
