I am having chicken for dinner christmas day with mixed veg Yorkshire puddings and roast.Dont like turkey to dry. You can have Yorkshire puddings with any meat. You can buy mixed veg together.
Just thinking of my mum bless her , she use to store fruit for Christmas in our clothes drawer , but we didn't have a fridge , lettuce toms in a big pan in pantry , trifle made night before stored wrapped up in wash house , extra milk in bucket of water in wash house , and shops shut for 5days now open day after but everyone shops like the world's going to end , well enjoy , x

we had roast lamb and gravy with mint sauce baked potatoes,kumura,parsnip and pumpkin and broccoli with white sauce and for dessert we had fresh fruit salad,pavlova,custard,jelly and ice cream with whipped cream it was delicious and as it’s only my husband and i we invited 2 ladies who were going to be on there own.We also had xmas crackers.We have xmas cake with coffee or tea we normally have steamed pudding but we were too full to eat it and our weather is hot over here at xmas being summer in new zealand

Tip for people running out of space in oven roast potatoes cut slightly smaller than usual not much smaller. No need to par boil. Just peel cut drizzle a little oil and sea salt on them mix around and put in air fryer 180 for around 25 mins shuffke around a few times. Really yummy i do same with roast carrots and parsnips. Yorkshires a few mins in air fryer for frozen pre done ones. Can put roasties and root veg in with meat then finish in air fryer to crisp up. Frozen cocktail sausage part cook wrap in bacon then finish less than 20 mins air fryer. Take any short cuts you can at xmas its family time not spend all day in kitchen cooking and cleaning time. Cook from frozen tray meat it the best at xmas cant go wrong with it. Hope everyone has an amazing Christmas enjoy fun family time.

My Xmas cooking style is the same as yours, easy and hassle free. Frozen Yorkshire, frozen turkey breasts. My kids don't like much veg so we have frozen cauliflower cheese. I work 14 hour night shifts, don't get in until 07.30 and back in at 17.00.

Boxing day is the 26th dec. Traditionally, it was a day that servants of the rich gentry had time off to visit their familes. Also, it is Saint Stephens' day in the uk. We often have horse racing, rugby, etc, held on boxing day. Have a good Christmas 🎉

Hi zoe merry Christmas great Christmas shop I went shopping on Tuesday and got most in then j went to morrisons yesterday for bits and pieces the is only my son and I so we had our Christmas dinner today Christmas eve the other year the 3 grown up grandchildren came for Christmas dinner I'd cooked a load of dinner only to be told they only wanted small dinners cos they had their dinner at home so half the dinner went into the bin so I said I'm not doing dinner for them again at Christmas as I'm not wasting food the kids will be here tomorrow and if they want something they can have it ive plenty in so merry Christmas to all the sullivans I hope you all have a great time love fran xxxxx
