Actually am a doctor but I have followed your suggestion of applying a moisturiser daily but that have changed my skin I have flawless skin but after using moisturiser daily i broke out daily and got lot of acne scars and I started studying about moisturizers. Some studies showed that moisturiser locks moisture that itself is a comedogenic that may acutually block sebum from secreting and it may cause acne. And other chemicals that is added with moisturiser is even harmful than good.so use moisturiser only if needed like before doing makeup or when the skin is drying out. Moisturiser is more harmful than being good
And pls do read and spread awareness ,many people will be following this moisturiser routine like me
