Mam u told that D8 algorithm directs water to flow in steepest slope and after calculating slope u told that i will go in 50-40 (least slope). if these numbers are elevation data. either u have done some mistake or missed something
In Image statistics nxn matrix is used for demonstrations purpose where n is always an odd number. In this she has taken the minimum i.e 3x3 matrix which equals to 9 cells.
Maam shouldnt the flow be in the direction of the maximum slope? In fact, most of the other videos and papers have taken the flow direction along the maximum value of the slope.
There is a big mistake in the flow direction determination. The direction of flow is determined by the direction of steepest descent, or maximum drop, from each cell.
First of all she says that highest elevation is 50 but clearly 60 ia going to be higher... Then she says water flows to steepest slope but steepest would be from 50 to 20....Then even going by her logic from 50 to 40 then how on earth does it flow from 40 to 30... Very confused explanation
Thanks for your video. For the flow direction, 50 to 20 is the steepest right? and 20 can go in 15. Thanks.
Thank you for this presentation
Great video!
Thank you so much for uploading this!
Hi thank you for this video. I do not understand why water is not going in the 20 cell. Cheers :)
great one so it is helping improve practical knowledge
Good one Mam
nice presentation, I liked it!!
Thanks for your simple enriched
video.

she said from steepest slope
steepest slope should be vertical direction isnt it?
Yeah in vertical direction (steepest)
can you practically show how to use voxler for hydrological modeling
At 7:50, why would the water move to the direction of least slope? Is that an error?
does the values in the slope map are the value of elevation or the slope?
If its of elevation, then the water should flow from 50 to 20..
One doubt, if more than one cell then how flow direction measure.
What is the step for sink condition? When grid is
Hello madam can you explain why you divide 9 boxes while discussing the flow direction

Thank you very much
please make a video on how to work on glaciers using LS 8 data
Hello
I have a question and was the principle of generalization. Which processes can be distinguished?
Thank you so much mam, Kindly send the relevant paper which help to carry out this study.
Nice video
all r correct except for the first one..the direction should be towards the 20
It would be better if you demonstrated a sample modelling procedure in ArcGIS on this video.
Small mistakes but very informative. Thanks
1st Thanks.
how to get soft copy your materialrather vidio?
Thank you so much
can u share me note of this module please

are u guys expert
gis
yeah flow will be in the maximum slope direction

Madam, you said squire of the number but numbers are not eactly squire. Kindly guide
It is not square, it is 2 times the previous value. She made an incorrect statement.
20 can flow towards 15
