Anche io! pensa che è stata la cosa che mi ha "dato il via" a questa musica...i primi ascolti, i primi interessamenti al genere...quando ancora non usavamo internet, youtube ne altro...quanti ricordi..sigh!
Io ci andai proprio in quel giorno a Gods Of Metal. Volevo vedere gli In Flames, i Testament e i Type O Negative, che furono poi sostituiti dagli Slipknot. Ero in prima fila, proprio davanti a Jesper Stromblad, tra l'altro riuscii a prendere il suo plettro. Che giornata ragazzi!!! Bei tempi quelli, c'era ancora TMC2 e si poteva vedere di tutto. Grazie mille per averlo caricato.
I Dark Tranquillity erano il giorno prima, assieme a Demons & Wizards, Sentenced, Domine. Edguy e Iron Maiden. Quel giorno lì c'erano loro, Testament, Slipknot (primo concerto in Italia), Slayer. Ci fu una breve apparizione del gruppo rap di Tommy Lee che fu bottigliato e costretto ad abbandonare il palco dopo 10 minuti. In ogni caso è stato il mio primo concerto..quanti ricordi e che bei tempi, quelli del liceo.
Honestly, following Colony. Clayman gave a little taste of emo w/ Only for the Weak and Satellites and Astronaut, then Reroute to Remain arrived, where 3 quarters of the tracks have that alternative/emo tone and tempo.

You do realize that's exactly what all of Anders's lyrics are about, right? The ones written after 2004 are easier to understand, while the previous ones are more subtle in the way of saying "pls halp, i want die and attention pls."
