I like how UA-cam allows many introverts to talk and share their thoughts in the comfort of their own homes, which, in turn, attracts like-minded people into their lives, be it online or offline.
But you're right; sometimes it can be used as an excuse to avoid engaging in real social interactions. I'm guilty of that myself.

I agree with that, that's why I love UA-cam. I have embarked on this journey too.

i'm an INFJ, i seem very animated in social situations and can appear extroverted - i don't know a single person who would define me as shy. introversion usually has a big emphasis on your internal world, introspect, intuition and vision/projection. bell curve is the polarisation which is found in everything. a thermostat doesnt just say its hot or cold, how light or dark is it? how good or bad is someone? enjoyed this video some concepts i love to dwell on. The Perennial Philosophy looks like a good read i will add it to my list!

I'm an introvert masking as an extrovert. One of the best things I was asked to do in grade school what is to make eye contact, smile, and say hi to three people each day and watch what a difference it makes in them and in you.
Uncomfortable at first but now it's just part of who I am.

I really enjoyed watching your video! Your change in perspective regarding your introversion was very refreshing. I completely agree with your point that society tends to blame introversion for discomfort and lack of accountability. Those who identify with introversion often have a negative perception of themselves. It's important to eliminate the stigma around introversion ("To rid the disease" - Opeth, great song) and focus on its numerous benefits to promote self-love. Your video probably resonated with many people, including myself. Great job!

I was expecting some tips about how to make money without having to interact with people 😅 But instead you made me reflect about how can introverts add value to a community. I honestly find social interactions so draining because most people seems to be seeking their own agenda and not even listening to each other. I think one of the strong points of introversion is to actually listen and understand other points of view before making a decision or conclusion. Since there’s not an interest to be the center of attention, there’s also more chance to reflect before speaking.

So many good takes again, can only agree with you man! I can tell you, I used to be way more introverted but then I slowly started to go out with coworkers and friends, now I am confident enough to go to festivals and events that interest me but not any coworkers or friends. You must be able to break the walls between introvert and extrovert, its cool!

Refreshing video. As a human who had tried to quash their introversion, I've been allowing myself to express my introversion which has allowed me to become more extroverted. I made a literal solo space for myself and have been (through great efforts) allowing myself to spend time alone there. This has led me to recconect with myself and my human essence. I've noticed I feel more present and become genuinely interested in others more often. I was told 'you seem more confident' but I've always been this way, but before I felt bad about wanting to be alone. About wanting to sit and observe sometimes.
Such a simple thing can have a profound effect. I don't know what the next step is yet in my relationship to FI but I know that, to continue working towards it, often it means facing challanges. A better understanding of the self: I think that is a strength/skill that will help one to cope and continue constructively building FI which seems like a step towards greater human independece in our present society. Should it be that way? That's a different question.

People meet me and say I'll have what she's taking. I am bubbly ,outgoing, kind, and one with nature, but I'm also an introvert. Im evolving consciously . I don't want to have any word or label to define any part of me. We live in such a judgemental society. I am deeply philosophical, i am an avid reader, and i love to paint, cook, write, and i love baking . Camping, being in nature is me, but i love to laugh and I'll dance with the trees. I believe all living things have energy. I often see a trees energy, and it's really incredible. We're here for such a short time. Being spontaneous, creating, living in the here and now. I don't judge anyone. I look at life like this. " Dont miss out on the most wonderful book ,just because you don't like the cover." ❤ Michele. X
I watched " Im going to die." It made me cry. ❤
Im in Bracebridge Ontario Canada, and your area looks very beautiful as well, similar to mine. Peace X

But, can we still get ideas for how to make money online as introverts, that aren't some sort of scam? I've worked in manufacturing for almost 14 years (spent 2 years in customer service before that) all while living in a big city, and I'm all peopled out. Working solo online while living in the countryside would be a dream come true.

Throuhout my life, I find it very hard to make friends because of my social anxiety when I am surrounded by people. I'm not good looking, and therefore, very self conscious. The painful process I've been through of seeking outside myself, wanting that person to be my friend, but I can never have. . I feel like I am destined to be 'alone' and need to accept that destiny. .

I've always been interested in the stock market and seen some folks who used it to their advantage to play the game well and retire early. When I questioned them, the majority admitted that while they first invested relatively little, their portfolio rose. I do have the necessary startup funds, but I have no idea what approaches or methods I should take in order to generate respectable returns.

When making such important retirement planning decisions, it is crucial to get advice from a financial coach. I connected with an investment broker, and with his help, I was able to create enough passive income to keep me going during the pandemic. After getting laid off, I decided to stop working completely and am now able to live off the income generated by my investments, which generate a healthy amount of cash flow each year. I would advise using a broker.
