Thank you for sharing and highlighting these necessary conversations forcing the birth of intentional actions to bring about positive change. When you point out how much we are the same, that many of us are one paycheck away from being in the same boat it makes real the need for us all to do better. Thanks for sharing brother.

Thank you Khary! That really means a lot and yes these are necessary conversations. It's so important to humanize this situation. One thing we didn't touch on is the fact that so many elders that run out of funds for care simply and tragically get dropped off at Skid Row.
We have to do a better job.
