Don’t select missing stock of items on eBay, select buyer requested to cancel. It’s unreasonable that eBay strikes your account for missing stock. We never use that option.
And we’re back. I did watch last week’s Vlog but was in the midst of (home life) chaos which I will spare you the details, suffice to say had to take a week’s leave to support my lovely fiancé/ caring responsibilities but all is well now ! (And should be for the foreseeable future now, which is good). Speaking of cars…..MOT was on Monday (three new tyres but thankfully I do not have a 4x4 so a bit cheaper than your outlay) though new brakes and work on the suspension forced the price up somewhat. (But again, that should be everything car related for quite some time…. I hope 😀!). Required a courtesy car which was fun….hybrid (okay, not really an issue), automatic (which I have driven before, but prefer my manual), and an electronic parking brake….( I mastered putting it on, but took a while and a UA-cam video to work out how to take it off again….). Lego wise (because you were intrigued about my “green order 😀) I am not building Thunderbird 2. This is a completely different build that just happens to share some DNA with the (to me at least) iconic vehicle. Without boring you with all of the details (that would take hours to go through and I’ve already admitted that I am an idiot when it comes to building real models of imaginary objects that would be sort of realistic) I am currently doing my usual practice of SNOT and hiding the anti-stud whilst constructing the middle section of the underside of the fuselage with working landing gear, landing gear covers, and a “belly” hatch that opens. Should only take me until 2025…. Right, a belated KDDK Time. In no particular order, just finished reading Geddy Lee’s autobiography “My effin life” which was a thoughtful read given that his parents were Holocaust survivors (which he covers) and the stresses on his marriage from all the touring, and the loss of Peart. That said, it is engaging and Lee is quite self deprecating about himself. Saga: listened to the 2017 live concert which, not being an expert on the band by any means, looks like it is a greatest hits run through. Playing was excellent, the songs were fine, but hasn’t encouraged me to explore anymore of their back catalogue. Listened to the second cd by Gungfly. Really enjoyed it (several tracks from their earlier albums) and have ordered their new release. Continued with Big Big Train and The Pineapple Thief back catalogues as backing soundtrack to the Lego building. In new music news (to me at least) started listening to Cats in Space….
Yay! Good to have you back. Sorry to hear it's been a week of chaos but glad to hear there is hopefully an end in sight to it all. Bloody cars eh. They certainly can be a drain on the wallet. Mine was just bad timing with other things going on but isn't that always the way. Still super intrigued about your "green" build. Sounds like Gerry Anderson so thinking Stingray, Joe 90 etc. You'll have to send me a pic when it is complete. Onto the KDDK: Good to hear a short review of the Geddy Lee book. It's definitely on my list to pick up, it sounds like a really interesting read with his parent's background etc. Will definitely be picking it up. I have to be honest and say my music listening has been a little limited over the last week as I've been spending an ungodly amount of time on UA-cam researching an upcoming trip we're getting excited for. Been watching a lot of Old Grey Whistle test stuff too and am amazed at some of the bands (such as Lonestar with John Sloan, love their "Firing on All Six" album). Also very nostalgic of the bands I did see (Gary Moore, with Thin Lizzy yet with Cozy Powell of drums). I have continued the live album theme with the new Pat Travers release from "Live N' Loaded 84" (I loved this era of his) which is great. Good to hear your trying Cats in Space, interested to hear what you think. Might not get much listening done the next couple of weeks too ;)

Is there no comeback for using that option if it's not accurate?
And we’re back.
