Like the '08 Cardinals, you only have to be good enough running the ball to keep the linebackers honest. They have to believe you're dumb enough to try to run it, and therein lies the successful play fake. I kind of liked what they had with Morris at LT and Thuney at LG, right after Suamataia flamed out. Hunt was getting positive yards on every run. Might only be 2 or 3 yards, but a couple runs and it was almost always 3rd and doable. Hunt is a load to bring down, and if they can string together enough 3rd down conversions, opposing defenses wear down by the 4th quarter. Mahomes's brand of small ball, making defensive linemen chase him all over the field, is also exhausting. But I think it likely that both teams will make their share of explosive plays. Spags's calculated risks can sometimes blow up in his face. That's all part of his calculation, of course, but he's not looking to play perfect defense, but to disrupt the offense and get them behind the chains. He only has to do that once on a series, and the drive is ended. Anyway, on the other side of the ball, I think the WR group is a tough matchup for anybody. They're peaking at exactly the right time. Nothing beats a great pass rush like a quick throw to an open man, and the Chiefs are scheming it up right and they have the speed outside to execute at an extremely high level.
I’d bet Chiefs as the better team. Just from things out of the Eagles world. Coach bikers and yells at any and everyone arrogantly. A very look at me credit me or your against me. Has rubbed off on players like AJ Brown and wanting the ball when you have Barkley. While Chiefs don’t really single themselves or anyone out. The wr all are understand and buy in that any one of them can be the guy in a given week
The reffing has already been debunked. Plenty of missed calls/bad calls that helped the Bills and they could not over come the assistance of them. Since the lost just like the Texans only the chiefs get the scrutiny of the refs. Plus they are the most visible team with national broadcast games. The calls are for and against all teams
