Wow! It looks so complex but it's actually so easy to make! Thanks so much for the vid, bro!! 👍🏻
Thank you and very well done video. You focus on what I was here to learn without a lot of rambling. (I have subscribed)
How long were the strands when you started out and did you gut them (take out the inside strings)?
Is this still 1 foot per inch? Is it more? How do I calculate how much I need?
Son todos sus diseños muy buenos gracias por enseñar las instrucciones son claras.
Great video. Very clear instructions. Much thanks!
This would make a good fishing rod grip
I tightened it after every hitch, but it’s still loose, the hitches move side to side very easily. Definitely not suitable for a grip. Am I doing something wrong?
how do you finish the ends? seems like they would be inclined to come unraveled.
He has a different video for that - search his channel for a video with "finishing" in the title
Looks _epic_ on my rifle grip!
thank you for these lovely designs and video
great wrap
Have many foot, per inch of cord did you used.
WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF CORD TO USE
your good at this stuff thanks , Ive watched a few of your videos , I been doing it all wrong
Really appreciate you like this very easy to understand
I too want to know how to finish it off. Looked to the right of the UA-cam play list, and there it is!.... "Finish Wraps Binding" by Paracord Guild thank u!
How much paracord length would I need for a 42" boat steering wheel with this technique
please add to length of paracord used in your videos.
Im from mizoram...thanks for this video
How did you end it?
How do you finish it?
I have a walking stick made of polypropylene, which is very slippery. Was thinking about using hot glue or maybe double sided tape to make the braid stay in place.
Any suggestions?
I don't know about double sided tape, but hot glue easily peels off of really smooth surfaces. I don't think it would work well for this purpose. Without knowing exactly how your stick is formed (hollow, solid core, stalk straight, etc.), it's hard to give a good suggestion. One that might work, though, would be to drill a hole through it and feed one long length of cord through, using each end to hitch. (That might be a terrible idea, but just a brainstorm. Good luck!)
On another forum a user suggested using bicycle tube under the wrap. It also has some 'give' to make the grip feel softer. Good luck if you did not find answer yet.
Drill a hole through the stick where you want the top of the wrap to be. Pass the paracord through it until you have the strands at even lengths on each side. Do the wrap. It ain't goin no damned where....
how to hide the starting ends of the string... I'm guessing you can tuck them back in and cover them up as you build right??? also how do you do the end???
Very clear. Thanks.
What ! How do you finish bot ends ?
how do you finish off the cord on both sides
Richard Bennett I was wondering the same thing. Do you just simply cut and burn???
Richard Bennett he have another vid called finishing wraps- binding, he shows how he finish this
Richard Bennett is there a link to finishing it off.. I cant find the video..
How much cord per inch?
I tried this starting with 66" of each of 2 colors and the wrap was 6" long, so I would say that a safe bet would be to allow one foot for each inch.
...long or short tutorial...I wouldn't know...I'm always on and off ...Pause...Thank you for posting...A.C.Feuerhelm
How long is the rope
Hey!
It depends on what length you want to cover and the diameter of the object. I recommend doing a short test length to see how much cord you use up.
Mark
thanks
Beautifil 😘 😘 😘 😘 😘 muchísimas gracias lo ago para forrar lapiceros 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’d use cord fresh outa the package. Finish, and dip in hot water. Going nowhere after that.
You didnt show how to finish it..you dont want it slipping off while using it with something sharp

Boa ideia
marry me, mark
Great video, the disappointment is not showing how to finish, it's OK if your in the know, but many people, me included are novices, hence no idea how to finish.
My favorite way to finish any wrap job is using a separate piece of cord. Fold it in half to for a loop that will stick out of the end of your wrap. Wrap the last several wraps/knots over it. Then put the tag ends thru the loop and pull on the 2 tag ends of your separate piece, pulling the tag of your wrap under the wrap itself. Nice clean finish.
They actually made a seperate video for that.
@@encendercolores1684well I just scrolled through most of their video list and did not see one video on finishing. If it is there most people won't take the time to search, how hard is it to show how to finish a wrap when instructing on doing a wrap.
He never shows how to finish.
Just don't finish it too quickly. You'll end up single.
