    You look fabulous in this jumpsuit! I love everything about it on you, the fabric you selected, and the style!❤. Despite the challenges you had creating this garment, it resulted in a beautiful piece that I hope you get to wear for quite some time! You both did a fabulous job! Thank you for your candid review!

    Sheree your jumpsuit came out PERFECTLY 🤎🤎🤎. I still can't figure out how I had opening on the sides, yours didn't 😅, so I'm convinced it was.me doing something wrong. But im thinking your explanation on how to put it on is the missing puzzle for me.
    Same here, I was like "how do you put this thing on". That fabric is absolutely GORGEOUS. I love your pictures. 🤩 YES ONE IS ENOUGH 😄😄. I'm so happy we tried it and I Thank you for the collaboration, it was a learning experience for sure!

      Thank you. I also love your fabric choice. I’m happy we tried it as well. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who fumbled through this pattern. I love collaborating with you friend! ❤️ Your jumpsuit is also beautiful I was envious of how nicely the cross over bodice fits your bust. You clearly did a better job of fitting your bust than I did.

    Absolutely gorgeous. I would add another snap so it will have double strength and maybe it will give you a little bit more confidence to wear it. Love it.

    Wow! Beautiful and it looks so lovely on you. I think you are wearing it correctly. Years ago, I had a pattern for short shorts that fastened like this with the back waistband buttoning in front and front wrapping around the back. They didn't cover very well (maybe they were more of a swimsuit coverup). I enjoy your channel so much and think you are very good at explaining your techniques. Thank you for sharing!

    Sister I commend you to the fullest for continuing with this pattern because it seems like the designer was doing way too much from the start lol. It would've definitely been in my UFO pile for sure. You have great patience!!! The fabric is gorg and you wear it well.

      Thank you so much. ❤️ I often wonder if I am explaining myself correctly when discussing things that confuse me. I don’t want to turn people off from patterns but I do want to articulate my challenges in a way that informs viewers kind of like a “heads up”.

      @@ShereeThomas30 It was perfect, I love the transparency. Any type of review i.e restaurant, product etc. should be based on our personal experience; good or not it’s just being real 💯 for the reader/watcher to then do their own critical thinking. And you definitely wouldn’t have known all that is involved just by looking at the pattern cover pic. 🤷🏾‍♀️ that’s a Vogue pattern for you 😂

    I wonder if you could use a different fabric for the facings so you can maximize the use of your main fabric. I love the fabric you chose. I also appreciate your review as well as SewNaturalDane. ❤

    Wow the jumpsuit is amazing ❤. I took this out to make, started reading the instructions n said I don't have the head space for this right now. I could not envision after reading how the waistband came together. I am an intermediate to advanced sewer and I struggled reading those instructions. I picked an easier jumpsuit and called it a day. I am happy that you persevered. 😊 I feel you when you say you will not make another. I have put this one back in the cabinet for now. 😮thanks

      I completely hear you. I cannot believe how confusing the instructions are. I’m glad to hear that I wasn’t the only one stumped by this pattern. Thank you for the compliment ❤️

    Oh no! I picked this pattern up on a whim and now I’m totally scared 😅 thanks for sharing your struggles, your finished product came out great at least!

      Well, I think if it’s you’re style then you should make it. It’s nice to watch review videos ahead of time so that you’re not surprised with the instructions once you get started. I’m sure you will like the outcome of your garment and it may be less challenging now that you have watched mine and hopefully Nateida’s reviews. It is a very pretty jumpsuit. Let me know how you like it once you’ve made it.

    P.S. I love the fabric! Is it the brown paisley charmeuse from Joann?

    • @ShereeThomas30
      @ShereeThomas30  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes, it is brown paisley

    Sheree, You look great in your jumpsuit. I literally threw the pattern in the garbage after I did mine....but I did it in a seersucker and it was so wrong for the pattern. I threw it out because of frustration with instructions, so girl I feel ya.

    • @ShereeThomas30
      @ShereeThomas30  10 місяців тому +1

      Glad to know it wasn’t just me! Yes, fabric choice makes a huge difference. I’m sorry that you cut into your seersucker for this. So frustrating.

    Thank you for your review. I have the pattern, even made a toile of the top and was wondering if I should actually make it. Now I know that I would be very frustrated making it. It’s not you struggling, it’s the pattern…it’s for flat chested skinny models! Yours looks gorgeous by the way, and you have a lovely body. But I’m similar and I’m so glad I watched this.

    I just want to say that you look lovely in this jumpsuit. The fabric choice is gorgeous. The construction of this garment is quite strange. Kudos to you for sticking with the project. It’s a pattern I will pass on. You should not have to go through so much to wear a garment. No, No, No for this pattern.

      Thank you for your comment. I do find that when a pattern is more complicated than it appears to be that I have less enjoyment making it. Even with the a-ha moment that comes at the end of the construction when it all comes together.

    Interesting comment about the height the pattern is drafted for - as apparently the average woman is 5'4

    • @ShereeThomas30
      @ShereeThomas30  10 місяців тому

      Didn’t know that. Interesting. I often have to reduce the length in pants and I’m 5’4 with long legs. Who are these patterns drafted for?! 😂
