Growing up gay as a military brat I learned glamour magick as a survival tactic before I knew what glamour magick was … as I grew I just learned to use that same energy for whatever I needed it for … big fan 🎉

I loved that you put into words that glamour magic can also be about being a character, being invisible, being intimidating. I feel I've instinctively done these in the past and just didn't call it that. Very cool!
With sex magic - so much to talk about! Thank you for covering so much! I'd also consider myself a sex-positive demisexual. My contribution: wouldn't the world be so much happier if we were all genderfluid polyamorous pansexuals? No matter how you identify, what you go for or with whom, you'd be on the same love colorwheel as everyone else - lol! 💗

Being like everyone else is awful. Why the fuck would everyone being genderfluid poly pansexuals be a good thing? I'm happy being a woman. I'm happy being straight. I'm happy with a closed relationship. You're weird if you think everyone would be happier YOUR way just because YOU like it. People would lose their shit if I said everyone should be straight and gender conforming.

I'm permanently reliant on a wheelchair. I think I'm kinda outside the paradigm of what people normally expect, pretty upbeat and happy go lucky so I'd really love to cultivate a glamour so most people wouldn't see or treat me as a "broken woman".

    • @Elite1_Assassin

I know its probably hard, and I'm sure you might have heard this said to you before, also no one truly knows what life is for you and how strong you truly are or the struggle your daily life can be at times. But I hope one day you see how little it matters of what people you seeing you as a broken woman means on every sence of the word.
I just wanted to say dont worry what people think, god cares and loves you and sees how strong you are, he cares, and wants you to know how loved you are.
Your Angel's are around you all the time.
Stop thinking about what others perceive you as.
God knows your stronger and truly beautiful.
The ones that matter see you this way.
Fuck everyone else, they wont he with you in the end.

Hey, have you seen the show "Superstore!?" Garrett steady gets them ladies! He's in a wheelchair man... But it's all about being okay with you... loving you and having a positive attitude about your situation. (To the best of your ability, of course) But Garrett pulls em' in because he sheds all the frustrating social norms.
Dude's in wheelchairs and women in wheelchairs can crush that ass regardless, my friend! But you got to at least attempt to not GIVE A F*Ck what the asshats think!!! Look at Dina from Superstore!? (If you haven't seen the show please watch it! All my absurd references will make sense! Lol.)
She's nuts! But she has confidence and never backs down... so she hits ass like a toilet seat.
I know this all far EASIER SAID THAN DONE... believe me... I'm 5'6", and I do my thing... lol. Or something like that...😊 🙂❤️ just own your situation and make jokes... if you can make a girl laugh !? You're in like Flint...
I know you know EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN... we've all seen them dude's that didn't have ANY BUSINESS being with the hotties they were with... but they were confident and could make the opposite sex or same sex whatever! Lol. Laugh...

this might be a random/weird take for many people, but something abt glamour magick speaks to my neurodivergence! esp for fellow autistic folks, i’m 19 & am still unsure how people perceive me. when i’ve tried being kind, people say i’m awkward & vice versa. but having a very specific intention of how i want to be perceived each day is super helpful to me! it reminds me i can only control how i present myself & not stay hung up on what others think of me, because if i believe i’m a certain way, others totally will. that’s all lol

"I'd be naked all day if I could." "I don't like all the tight clothes touching me. I want to be free." That is so me. It's why I always wear dresses on my days off of work and school. Also, the fact I live in Texas, pants are annoying to wear in 100 degree heat. Like, sure it's more professional, but god, can we somehow make shorts professional so that I'm not dying in this heat? I can wear dresses to work, but I have to carry so many things on me, that it's impractical to make myself feel good about myself, especially right now where my hand is being wonky and I can't constantly hold so many things in my hands. I've literally gotten to the point in my life where I cannot wear a shirt if I'm to fall asleep. No matter how loose the fabric is, it is too contraining to fall asleep in.
Standing in front of the mirror naked used to be so hard for me, but once I had more self compassion, it has been easier. It is still hard to say "I love you as you are right now," and "You are gorgeous," but it has become a little easier. My favorite thing to do is stare at myself in the mirror before I take a shower.😂

Love the new episode, especially the comments at 15:35 about glamor magick and invisibility.
Invisibility is one of my favorite charms to use. Mainly I use it for personal protection. But also I mixed in pop culture magic with it, by charming a very high quality One Ring replica that I bought years ago. Yes that one ring from Lord Of The Rings. It even had all the elvish inscription on the inside and everything.
And it works really well. Sometimes too well, lol.

@@IvyTheOccultistthanks, also thank you for the comments about guys with eyeliner. It made me unreasonablely happy, since I'm a guy and I'm dabbling a bit with things like eyeliner and so on.
Never been in public with it, and a large part of that is the fear of what others will think. At the core I'm doing it to make me feel good. But in the back of my head is that little voice that says I'm making it even harder to ever get a date by doing things like that.

    • @IvySafira
      @IvySafira Рік тому +4

@@Myke_thehuman NOOOOOO! Please please do it! Wear your eyeliner out and about! I'd love to see it, every time I see a guy wear eyeliner I just get so happy about it, even though I'm too shy to tell them anything about it. Plus, think of it this way, instead of it making it harder for you to get a date, what if what you're really doing is weeding out and clearing those who wouldn't accept you for the things you enjoy, you know? Especially if it's something you do to make yourself feel good, it would be better to have a date who appreciates that you do things that feel good to you as opposed to not wanting to accept that. Just a thought.

I feel with age I just no longer cared how I was perceived by others? I feel many older women have the same outlook? It’s incredibly liberating! I guess my only wish is I arrived to this conclusion at an earlier age? When I’m out and about, which is rare because I’m kicking chronic illness azz like a warrior, I like to compliment other women. A compliment may make another woman’s day and that makes ME happy! This is just my two cents worth, but every woman is beautiful in her own way. That is the profound magic of being female. This is the first time I’ve watched a video about these topics and it’s a very interesting conversation! Thank you both for creating this video🙏🏻❤️🕊

I've been using glamours for invisability & "don't approach me" shielding since childhood. 🤣 For my Anxiety in public spaces, instead of a head wrap, I actually use my ear buds/headphones. Utilizing the electromagnetic field to help power the ward around my psyche/crown. #TechWitchThings I guess. Additionally, the music helps, but even when there's nothing playing, the muffled sound helps as well. Can't go wrong with it! 🖤💜

Glamour Magick for me is believing something and by doing so I act, behave, talk and project my belief. Confidence is my key ingredient. As others see me and interact with me, they come to see me through my belief. People are attracted to confident people. Soon I would find girls imitating my style, my clothing and guys wanting to meet me, gifting me things and people overall being either very nice or wishing me harm which is the other not so great side of the coin. Honestly I have learned to use it only when needed as for me it was too overwhelming to have strangers start being nice to me, only to turn on me eventually. Mostly happened more when I was in my teens and 20s with other people my age. Now I’m in my 40s and when I use Glamour people are just simply way nicer and very helpful making my life easier when it comes to paying bills, getting extra discounts and just being able to navigate the system smoother and easier to achieve success as well. This is my own personal life experience and how I use it🌿🌺

Fabulous collaboration! Thank you! So much of what you say here resonates with me. I've practised sex magic since my early 20s, so that's 40+ years now, journeying from coupling for pure pleasure - sapio pansexuality - through many years of soul connection and healing by yoni massage, to intentional solo adventuring :) for manifestations. My thanks to Luna for the chakra dynamic. It sounds lovely and I will try it. My thanks too to Ivy for the glamouring soaps and shampoos and everything in the bathroom. My daily shower is a ritual already, a strong one, but today after absorbing this idea of yours I charged everything beforehand and it was even stronger. Thank you!

May I suggest the Kushiel trilogy by Jacqueline Carey? It's not about magick - as a matter of fact, it's an erotic fantasy series - but it is the most powerful and liberating tale I've ever read. It's set in an imaginary version of Medieval Europe where sex and pleasure are held sacred, and it's a beautiful live story and there's plenty of political intrigue and it's kinky af. I super recommend it!

I remember years back I knew this lady who was really into both vampiric & sex magick, I was targeted by her. I liked her - but didn't really trust her because she manipulated other previous men.
When she & I were together, she tried to be discreet about her being a witch, but I figured her out when she tried taking a lock of my hair, she stole small trinkets of mine, she tampered with my cigars etc. I knew what she was trying to do, but I wasn't having it.
She later on found out I was a warlock, which shocked her at first but realized why her magick wasn't working on me. Shortly after: we went our separate ways respectfully.
Mainly because she & I weren't compatible, I preferred to be partner & lover, not a toy. I became a little cold & distant towards women or just casual lol. In my future I'll find a partner who I can trust, but till then I absolutely enjoy flying solo, love my freedom lol.🤘🍎🐍

Just wanted to add some ideas for simple glamours for people who do not wear make up or jewelry: Incorporating colour magick into your wardrobe is super easy to help channel and project the energy that you want. If you have time to prep, you could embroider a sigil/glyph on the hem of your shirt or pants. If you're not a sewer, you could take a marker and draw the sigil on the tag, or on the inside of a pocket. If you use a washable marker, you could change the sigil often as it will come off in the wash.
For a ridiculously easy on the go glamour - charge some water with your intention and draw a sigil/glyph on your body somewhere. You could even do this with your own saliva if you wanted to.

I'm enjoying this conversation. I'm kind of thinking that disguises and such, even if they aren't to make someone more attractive may be considered glamour magicks. I'm wondering how often spies might be thought of as practitioners. For that matter, the idea of ninjas being invisible I think is more likely that rather than being truly invisible, they don the disguise of the unassuming and vanish into a crowd.
I enjoy solo questing. If you use the results for manifestation, does that mean what you manifest is considered quest related loot? Solo leveling and grinding for that sweet sweet loot. Ok, I'm being bad and entertaining myself way too often.

I would love to hear a presentation from this Lady about repulsion and protection for rape prevention. Also, if she has any wisdom about peeping toms and obstructing the viewer's gaze ( maybe I should make the distinction, short of blinding them/ hex work.). Thank you!

i feel like i need to get into this type of magick because I'm starting my advanced pharmacy rotations, and I'm so scared that my preceptors are going to think less of me. I have anxiety for one, and I struggle with migraines so I'm worried of having to take a day off or take less energy for myself when getting ready. UGH. Sorry for the rant. I just want to be seen as professional with great communication skills, both with patients and interprofessional. Verbal or written.

For the channel member that doesn't wear makeup and is allergic to jewelry, friendship bracelet style jewelry is fantastic! Bracelets, anklets, whatever... And bonus points for making it yourself so that you can implement your own knot magic. Speaking of knot magic, a simple braid in your hair can go so far. 💙 Oh yea, and carrying certain crystals on you that you can assign an associated correspondence to your presentation. 🥰

This is one of my favorite episodes! Thank you for emphasizing that sex is different for everyone. I follow some occult and new age UA-camrs who keep insisting that us women naturally get attached when we have sex while men don't. I hate that archaic and sexist belief.

I absolutely love this video!!! While watching this, I realized that I've been doing Glamor magic since i was Like 10 years old. I never knew about witchcraft until I was in my teens. I grew up in the Bible belt and used to feel ashamed of myself for doing self pleasure... I was 16 and just finally discovering my own pleasure and did sex magic then, not even realizing it. I started practicing witchcraft a few years ago. I'm now almost 47. I'm a scorpio, and I'm the classic typical scorpio, finally being true to myself and embracing my sexualality and my calling to witchcraft. Thank you so much for this video!! It feels so good to know there are other women out there with the same beliefs and practices. ❤
