GENIAL !!!
@@massimilianovanzetti8324 / I don't know what you mean. What is Frankie ?? I don't know all the nuances of English yet ... ? I just feel the beauty of art.
both win here - A+. franco sings with a rich voice that is controlled and learned as though born to fulfill his art to the max. he can be everything the music demands in both voice and character - he definitely has those gifts in spades - and is most certainly one of the greatest talents the world has seen! personally, he has become one of my all-time favorites and i just adore him! simone is lovely and feminine - very pleasing to hear! i think that seeing either performer on stage would be the greatest and most awesome thrill beyond description! yes, these voices are both superlative! ; )
I am rarely a fan of soprano voices though notable exceptions exist ie Anna Moffo and Gruberova, but have not heard from Kermes or Fagiola any text that I could translate into "words". I certainly note the facility of coloratura at the disposal of each, but I think somewhere, even in Italian, a consonant is important. This may have more to do with my processing of "high" tessitura, but again Cenic strikes me as a preferable sound this "high" and I have since first acquaint loved Deutekom. Again, the filter of technology versus live might make a significant difference in all cases.
Franco Fagioli aka Cecilia Bartoli, sound so much alike! At least this time I understood him pretty much but that i because i have this aria memorized! I love Simone.
😊 Cecilia Bartoli is a great singer and a teacher with lots to learn. I also respect and like very much. Listen to his vocalism of Franco Fagioli "Ombra mai fu" , You can feel his unique rich charm. Only men can play this area.
@@KimMyeongJu-pr9ro the only problem I have with Franco is that when he normally sings I can't understand a single word he is singing. It's all mushy. Cecilia to me since far too much staccato in her voice. It's very jarring
@@mradaChris / I saw you singing on your channel. You seem to have a great passion for singing. It was nice. Songs can be healing. 😊 The pronunciation of Franco Fagioli is correct.
Respectfully I do not agree. Yes you are comparing male and female, but the role is suited for both baroque sopranos and countertenors. On the America's Got Talent show, X-Factor, etc., men and women compete in voice equally. It is about the interpretation and rendition, not about man or woman.
Simone's voice is beautiful but for this piece the richness of Franco's voice has my vote.
Franco ..of course!!! ❤️
....and I LOVE both of them, but Franco seems to win this one
FRANCO hands down for my taste. His interpretation matches what the orchestra brings to the party which makes for me a total experience. Love it !
Por supuesto Franco Fagioli

C'est tout à fait ça !
It's not an easy song.
Both are excellent. But Franco Fagioli seems to be a little better.
Delicate, rich, elegant, beautiful and powerful.

Fagioli is unbelievable!
This is a fireworks display! How beautiful... A thousand thanks.
Franco .....♥️
I love Simon's original style, but prefere deeper voices. Franco's contratenor coloraturas are unsurpassed.
Franco! I think the piece slaps different on counter-tenor with a darker note like his. Simone still sounds amazing
Fagioli. The orchestra in Kermes' interpretation is great!
Both wonderful. I haven’t much of Simone so this is a wonderful opportunity to research her more fully.
David Hansen sang this,too
Great song. Excelent both ❤
in the Baroque i love them both, but also for me here Fagioli wins!

I always think that Fagioli sounds more like Stutzman, especially if you close your eyes.
Preferance goes to fagioli.. Furore with depth... With all my appreciation for Simone Kermess
please where can I find the vocal sheet music?
Kermes

I wonder which is in the right key, if either of them?
This is a difficult comparison:Soprano versus counter. I like Kermes voice best, but here she has problems with the breathing

Franco wins this one. Kermes is pushing against her age, pretty obviously.
Simone Kermes - she just sounds more natural. Countertenors tend to sound a bit artificial and forced to my ear.
Hansen?
They are both quite mediocre..
As compared to.....?
