My king this start to sound like a club team and not a country,we need to start a proper project including system of play,pitches etc.we must develop our players at home,same thing over an over gon end up with the same results
What about Turkey, Morocco and many other countries who recruit dual-national players. You can't compare now to the past for many reason as well. We have a solid core and are integrating some others which is good because we have time now before future competitions.
It's all about the money, national side can mek it so they will do anything to improve the product.
I don't have a problem with getting players who are eligible through lineage. That's the way football is now a days most countries are doing it. We just need to trust the process.

We need committed dedicated players and a solid team that’s balanced with players that are from different backgrounds, without the diaspora we won’t reach anywhere because there’s levels to this game. You can’t compare Jamaica to Panama for example because they don’t have such a large diaspora. Currently Ja has a top 5 pool in the entire world of eligible talent. Many of which are genuinely connected and value their Jamaican heritage. To not include them would be quite foolish. We just need to build a team that’s consistent, competitive and organized. Yes we need to develop local talent and the system in Jamaica but as you can see with Nigeria, Morocco and many countries it can easily be done and there can always be a pathway for these players. Just because your not born in JA doesn’t mean your not Jamaican as well. Many people feel more at home outside of their birth countries because of the cultural familiarity etc. My kids are born and raised in Toronto but they love Jamaica because I made sure they know and appreciate their background.
It’s all about passion, culture, background, experiences etc and people fit on a spectrum. Ultimately it’s up to them to decide where they want to play/identify with in their lives and we should accept them with open arms and be positive.
Why don't they just call Jamaica national team small England team jff is trying to Hire a England coach to influence, more english players to play for Jamaica.We won't have any local base in the team , so just name it baby england team They should do that and stop beating around the bushes
That is what other countries call us, and it's a dam shame that 90% of our team is English Born players, the JFF won't spend any money in Jamaica football, like better football field and getting better coach, and learn a style of play from highschool, we need to learn to keep the ball and and learn about high press and don't give your opponent no time on the ball to do anything so we can win the ball back, the reason why Jamaica doesn't have any Medfield from highschool to seniors is because we bypass the field with our big kick to the forward, and the reason for that is because we don't have to system or a style of play to move the ball around, if I was a coach in Jamaica for highschool or national team I would come up with a style of play I would tell them to play the ball short and though passes also no long ball if I see anyone playing the ball long when you have a player right their well not play on my team, and I'll also let them high press and tell them don't be backing off whenever you lose the ball right into your half high press give them no time on the ball and win it back
