I know I know, Ending C isnt supposedly the ending that leads to Drakengard 1 but hear me out, despite what Taro himself says: 1. The music that plays in Zero V One's fight is a direct nod to Ending E's final music, and an eeire chime that serves as a prelude to it. 2. The credits music. 3. Zero's insanity clearly shows in this ending to be inevitable, she is also transforming which means she will transform shortly after this, inevitably becomming the queen beast, if anyhting, this "Route" version of Zero probably -is- the Queen Beast.
Yes, especially how the Watchers are summoned. Just because this branch may have been sealed off, doesn't mean the Cult of Watchers couldn't summon her from this branch.

Basically, Kid Zero from the end of Branch B gets killed by Brother One, which, in turns, causes Mikhail to die again. What happens to Brother One afterwards is unknown other than he formed the cult of the Watchers.
They both killed each other’s dragons which meant they had no way to kill themseleves after they killed the other. Mikhail and Gabriel were the only dragons strong enough to do the job and yet their selfishness caused bith of them to be killed at the same time, making it impossible to stop the flower

Brother One's novella says that during her final months, One already intended for him to kill her if she managed to triumph over Zero: she would stand at a spot near the wall where he practiced his stabbing move, and tell him to stab her through the heart. She might have intended for him to commit suicide afterwards, but that clearly didn't work out in Branch A, and so the watchers were able to start spreading the Red Eye sickness through him instead, and eventually find another puppet in Manah. I suspect that in Branch D, Brother One died when Gabriel fell upon the Cathedral, while in Branch C, he might have been murdered by Two: if Two was already insane enough to kill One in Branch B, it's possible that was her plan in C as well. If so, then One fled to the basement of the Cathedral, perhaps allowing Two to find and kill her Brother as a decoy. If you compare One's dialogues between the branches, she is actually the least sentimental towards her sisters in this Branch: she does name them and say "You gave life to each and every one of them, then went and killed them all", but compare that to "I swear by my murdered sisters' souls" in Branch D, and the difference is clear. She also never outright calls themselves a plague in the other branches: I think that's because in C, she got to witness the effects of Two's song corrupting her soldiers once again, while in D, her sisters' transformations and madness happened entirely offscreen from her.
I rage quit at the final boss with the golems, but after Ive seen that it plays this song for the credits, I decided to retry it and beat it. Now I feel satisfied with myself that I finished it, I really like this song from the original. Not sure if I am devoted to get all the weapons for the final ending.

I know I'm pretty late to the topic, but you can play drakengard 3 on rpcs3 (ps 3 emulator). And it's honestly the best way to play it since it has a patch to remove 30 fps cap and generally it runs smoother than on an actual ps3

What if we have been looking at the timeline all wrong ? For example, what if there are actually two Cathedral Cities (although the city is said to be on the Iberian Peninsula, in the original game, it's located outside the map, beyond clouds) because the timeline is actually this: -Drakengard 3 (routes C and E); -Tokyo, 2003; -Nier; -Nier Automata (route C); -Drakengard 1. What if Brother One and his cult were the ones who came up with project Gestalt ? What if he's the reason the Gestalts became violent before the Shadowlord was thought of ? What if the Seeds are actually Emil's clones, that are harvested by the androids to be turned into angels/Watchers, with those who disobey being twisted into dragonhood ? What if the elves are actually of the same stuff Adam and Eve are made of ? Machines in android form. What if there were humans left ? What if Brother One hid them to start anew, should Gestalt fail ? Leading the Red eyed androids to decide they need to be exterminated ? What if that's why he was exiled from the church ? Because his red eyes were too similar to that of androids, meaning he could turn humans into bloodthirsty creatures too, the same way androids were ?
